I have spent years listening to my husband retell the play by play stories of his kills after a hunt. I finally decided to give it a try this year. I went out with him on the farm and shot my first deer, a buck no less, just a 6 point. Would post pic, but, well you know. I still love ragging him about how easy hunting is. I did have an adrenaline rush and sorta understood what he has been going on about all these years. I even had it tracked before he came over to me. I am gald I have this experience but don't care if I ever go again. However, I have spent the last three days on the Big South Fork doing some fishing and loving it. My dream is to send him on a huge hunt somewhere out west. He would love that.

LOL. Finally! Someone else sees this too.![]() He has only went on a few hog hunts in GA but dreams of going on an elk hunt or bear hunt some day! We have elk here but you have to win a lottery to get a chance to hunt one. I think that would be the ultimate gift for him.

I just hope he don't want to mount them. I always swore no dead animals would be hanging in my house. In this room alone is several pairs of mounted antlers, hog teeth, a bobcat, and a deer.
