Donating YT 11K Club Member | What to do when you're angry? What do you do? I'm asking cause i think i need anger management or something. lol I don't do anything stupid, i just like start shaking, my heart beats really fast and i scream into my pillow. I feel like i can't control it, oh and i also cry but that's it. The screaming helps a lot to take out my frustration but what do you guys do?

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | I do the same thing as you, actually lol. But seriously, what you just described sounds exactly like me. When I'm REALLY angry I just go outside and walk. I dont come back until I've calmed down enough that I can think and speak rationally. It all kind of depends on what works for you. If you like to write, I'd suggest you write it down. Just let out all of your frustrations on the paper, and don't censor yourself or anything - just let it happen. Some people like to listen to reall loud music (others like to listen to really soft, relaxing music). I think you should experiment with it, and whichever one works best for you you should focus on. Good luck!

| I'm not the best one to give advice, as my anger often feels out of control too. Its been like that since I was younger though. My parents taught me never, ever, ever lay a hand on anyone else... if they didnt there would probably be alot of ppl wth black eyes and bruises. Generally I yell or curse, throw stuff (like shoes that won't hurt). Very, very rarely I will get so angry that I can just not control it, like last wk when I kicked the wall and almost broke my toe. Even at my angriest I would never hurt a person. I do need to get the anger under control before I have kids though. Maybe someone can offer a good suggestion for us both.

| Really, REALLY angry? Scream and cry, same as you. Luckily it doesn't happen too often. I've gotten a lot more mellow with age. Hope everything is okay. Sending an emergency hug just in case.

| If I am REALLY REALLY angry. I usually cry. I'm a very vocal person, so usually everyone around me knows whats going on. Which is a bad thing sometimes. haha Luckily, it takes ALOT to make me that way. I'm pretty easy going these days.

| I clean house! Really loudly!!!! Pots hit the counter with greater force. Cabinet doors close a little louder. Sometimes I get tickled about how stupid I am acting that I actually start laughing. I don't throw things, I just use a little more force to clean. Hubby just stays out of the way and then enjoys a really clean house afterwards....

| It's been a long time since i've been really angry. I'm pretty laid back and it takes a lot to get me angry. But when i have been really mad, like when my child's teacher has said something totally unacceptable to my child...i cry. i hate that! I go to really tell her off and i get tears. SO annoying |

Okay, you officially qualify as too good! I only say that because I'm so jealous.

| I went to anger management classes....I was out of control....throwing things, breaking things...off on a tirade, yelling and saying things I later regret....what I do now is just walk outside.......quit talking for awhile until I can get myself under control, sometime.....I won't speak to the person I'm angry at for a couple of days....once I'm under control, I'll sit down and talk it out.

| I clean too! I remember once when hubby made me mad I got on my hands and knees and cleaned the bathroom floor with a toothbrush. Grrrr!!!! I guess I gain something out of being angry. I don't have to clean for awhile! If I'm too angry I cry. If I'm yelling at someone my eyebrow twitches. So watch out for the crazy brow. LOL

Well those classes sure did work! I'm so shocked because you are always so cool and together here I never would have guessed. I used to throw world class hissy fits myself. I just lost the urgency somewhere along the way.

| Before I retired I was an Executive for a Communications Company...have to keep your cool under pressure......otherwise you can't make the right decisions and your team will not respect you... But, watch out if my voice gets very soft.....I'm really pissed then.......
