YT Addict | Yeah I weighed Pips today he is 2.8 lbs and was 13 weeks on Sunday. Tracking between 5.5 and 6 lbs. I keep waiting for his weight gain to slow down but hasn't happened. I think when they start walking he will lose weight or slow down. His skeleton is growing s little longer and a little taller. |

| Thank you ! We love his colors to. Our last Yorkie did not have his colors. He was mostly tan and black. Chester's colors are really coming in beautiful His dad was a AKC Champion show dog, weighted 4lbs. His mom weighted a little under 7lbs, both are Champion Bloodline AKC |

| Thank you both, those are good comparable numbers Lexi sounds pretty close to Chesters weight at the same ages So you think by 6 months he should hit around 5lbs, then slow down? They grow the 1st year right? I don't want to have health issues with him down the road, I know the smaller dogs are more prone to health issues We did fight worms up till the last vet visit, so I know that slowed his growth the first 3 months also Last edited by Fltekdiver; 08-13-2014 at 05:15 PM. |

YT Addict | Yeah I was just checking my notes and pips was 44 oz last week and he 45.5 this week so far so maybe he's slowing down. I would love him to top out at five if possible but I hate skinny yorkies. I prefer they have a little meat on their bones. LOL. My hubby can't stop feeding my Biewer and he was up to 14 lbs He's on a diet to lose at least two lbs. The extra weight is hard on his knees. |

| Thanks ! I think Chester is going to track very close to Lexi / Pips with the weight We were just talking about it today,. his next shot is on Monday, which is his final shot We want to wait till 6 months, to do the spay and chip , so he gains as much weight before we spay him and let him get alittle stronger then now Last edited by Fltekdiver; 08-13-2014 at 05:30 PM. |

| How are Chester & Pips handling the heat here in Florida? I can only take Remy for a 15 min. Walk everyday because it is too hot and humid for him.

| Same here. He runs around the back yard in the morning around 8am, and at night when it's cooling off around 7pm. During the day, after 5min his tongue starts to hang out, and we bring him in Its been brutal in Melbourne, over the weekend we were at 98-99 all weekend with a heat index of 113 You can see the pic below, I just shot this tonight. He was hot even at 7pm after 10 min in the back yard |

YT Addict | Pips photos are under separate post pips 6 weeks old. Yeah its like 93 degrees but I don't take Pips out yet he has four more weeks. He's using pads, my Biewer walks outside but just goes out for potty walks in our property. Too hit to really walk them yet. Pips not on any meds yet. |
