YT Addict | Pips did great with the rabies shot. He was very sleepy snuggly for the first few hours, but later on he ate and no fever, diareahea or adverse reactions. He was full if energy and chasing toys around the kitchen. He gets the 9 way next saturday it will be his second one. He had fever and zapped for the whole day but better next morning. They are going to premedicated him just in case. Glad to hear he is doing so well and being so adjusted to his surroundings. I can't wait to get pips outside even if its in his pen at first. Too many things around here afraid he's gonna get a hold of one. I will keep watch for the photos if Chester. I took Pips by the breeder today to say hi, she works at a bank around the corner from us. She is always happy to see him and how he's doing. Enjoy what's left of the weekend with Lil Chester! |

| Yes, He really had a great time. He loved the dog park that was fenced off, he ran all over the place, but stayed next to us. The other dogs would bark when we walked by with him, and he would just look and keep walking. People came upto him , he just sat down and gave kisses. We thought 3 days in a camper would be alittle small for him, but he did really good. He loved sleeping with us, that was a first for him. He also slept in till 9am when we woke up, that was also a first. He loved looking out the windows on top of the couch, watching everything outside. No barking, not a pip all weekend. He really was a perfect dog. Were so happy with him |

YT Addict | I will be curious if he will be sleeping with you now that you are home. Or, is it back to the kitchen; He felt comfortable in the camper because it was small and he wasn't overwhelmed. No matter where you were he could probably see you. Too cute. Pips jumped over his fence in the kitchen came tearing through the house, found me in the bedroom. Couldn't hardly get him, had to corner him... It's 16 inches tall, he thinks he is Houdini n They are fun |

| LOL @ pips ! To funny , Yes, we have the cat, which has claws, and the two of them haven't been able to get near each other yet. It's back in the kitchen tonight. We just went to dinner, and Chester was sound asleep in the kitchen on his bed when we left, he was exhausted, lol We'll see what happens tonight, now that he's going to sleep in the kitchen tonight |

| Well it's 1:30 am, and Chester has been barking all night in the kitchen. He did this a few nights ago before the holiday weekend. I was up till 2:30am with him The cat sleeps in the bedroom with us. So we can't bring Chester into the bedroom. We did have him in the bathroom with. Gate their at night next to us, but he was going crazy so we moved him To the kitchen. He been in the kitchen now over. A month. If we leave the cat outside the bedroom, and bring Chester in, the cat howels all night and we can't sleep My wife just put some coins in a coffee container and rattled them, and told Chester No, No barking, and that quited him down for now. The other night at 2:30am, I had to spray that bittle apple on his nose, I felt terrible, but I been getting no sleep all night long. He stopped after doing that I find that if we keep him up with no naps from 5pm till 10pm, sometimes he will sleep through the night. Others he wakes up at 2am and starts barking Any suggestions? YT Addict | Yeah, I figured you were up for a rough night with Chester. The can with coins works good for Pips. I have two one for each end of the kitchen. Today is a bad teething day, he's chewing everything including me! I am going to have the same problem with Pips when he has decided he wants to sleep with us like Bailey does. Thing is I am afraid he will jump or fall of the bed and break a leg. Maybe try putting his crate on the night table next to your bed? I think that will be my next move when the time comes. He got out of the kitchen three times last night. He's using the cross rods on the closet shelf which is 16 inches high and hoisting himself over. Not going to be long before he will be running around. We turned the shelf around and hopefully that will work for a while. It's an adventure-- |

| We can't crate him, because we haven't crated him except for car rides. He's used to that, but not all night. I don't fall asleep easy. So I don't get up in the middle of the night to let him out. If I get up around 2:30am to let him out, I can't go back to sleep for a few hours, then I goto work exhausted. So we let him use the wee wee pads at night in the kitchen. My wife will let him out at night, but she works at night 4 nights a week What are you going to do with Pips and Bailey at night? I know the feeling about them falling off the bed and breaking a leg. Chester fell off the couch and bed twice this weekend by mistake. Luckily, they aren't high like our bed. |

YT Addict | Well Bailey is six he goes out between 900 and 930 and then when my husband gets up at 430 to 500 am he goes out. Pips has a potty pad in the kitchen but he doesn't want it in his pen at night. He goes potty on pad 930 or 10 pm and then if I get up during the night 2 to 3 am we put him on the pad then back to bed. In the morning at 430 to 5 when we get up its straight to pad. He stays in kitchen but pen is closed off except for night time so during the day the uses pad and sleeps on his blankets by dining table. I take him out if kitchen or go in several times during the day to play, feed, etc. Next week I will start taking outside to explore but not to push potty outside too much schedule wise we have company and I don't want to disrupt his schedule. After co leaves I will be taking him every few hours to teach potty outside but he will still have his pad for night time. Maybe just let him use his pad for nighttime so you can sleep and get up early like we do. The other thing would be to put him in crate next to your bedside. Bailey sleeps with us but I am not sure pips will because of his size, we will just have to wait and see. Hope this helps |

YT Addict | During the day I share my time with both individually. B hangs out in the bedroom we keep the living room as neutral territory. Pips was starting to think kitchen was his territory so we put b in for play sessions to get them to interface. They are brief. Pips comes in bedroom too do b doesn't think the bedroom is his. |
