| Well, Chester really has been good. My wife worked the past 3 nights at the hospital, so I been making sure he doesn't take any naps from 4pm on. I also been leaving my Ipad in the kitchen with him at night now, playing 9 hours of relaxing music. He woke up at 1:30am last night , and after a 1/2 listening to his barks get louder and more pronounced, I finally went out their, shook the can with the coins in it, and he backed up and went back to sleep Today my wife took him at 8am when she got home from work, do a dog palace. For $20 they play with him all day, and keep him company Because he didn't have his rabies shot yet, they wouldn't allow him to play with other dogs When they do have play time with other dogs, they break it up into 3 groups, small, med, and large dogs They said he was a doll all day, and kept getting passed around giving kisses all day My wife picked him back up at 4;30pm, so she could get a good days sleep since it's been months We both haven't had a chance to watch TV or anything. It's a full time job, that's for sure Tomorrow night she's off from work for the next 3 days, so tomorrow eve, she's on puppy watch all night. Saturday night she get's to relax, and I watch him all night |

| *** UPDATE *** We think ( it's to keep him still on the scale ) He's just shy of 5 months, and just hit 3lb and 2oz or ( 50oz ) Ok, we learned after 3 days in the camper, he was spoiled, lol After a night or two to adjust back home, and sleeping in the kitchen, Chester is really doing great. We let him take a nap in the morning and between 1pm to 4pm, but really after 4 to 430pm, we keep him up till after 10pm He's quite all night long, sleep till around 7am He's starting to hold it all night now, which concerns me, because it's along time But when he has to go, he does use the wee wee pad in the kitchen He's just about 100% potty trained, and starting to know the lease is to goto the bathroom also. At just shy of 5 months, He's slowing down a bit for sure. Teething has slowed way down also We were giving him very small portions of table food, and he shy away from his puppy food, so we stopped that to just a lick now, and really really small pc when we eat, and he's back to eating his puppy food He's doing really well, not a barker, plays with other dogs well, and really the perfect puppy ! Next week on the 18th he get's his last big shot, the one where we have to stay a hour with him afterwards, they said it will hurt him the most, but it's only one time, so were keeping our fingers crossed for this one Last edited by Fltekdiver; 09-11-2014 at 05:19 PM. |

YT Addict | Sooo glad he is doing well and you have him on a schedule. Pippy does great on a schedule and is settling down too. Nipping all but gone for now til the next round, LOL. Pippy doesn't get any table scraps just his food and s few cheerios for training. He is 100% on the pad if just in kitchen so you have to watch him when we let him wonder around the house. He has one more shot too but I am having minor surgery tomorrow so it will have to wait. I am not sure he really needs it. Chester's colors are awesome, his coat is so full. Pip's coat is silky right now hoping he keeps it. They are growing up so fast. Pip's growth has slowed down, he only gained two oz this week, still under 4 lbs. |

YT 2000 Club Member | dog Chester is having a blast! What about fleas? What about other illnesses he can get from other dogs there> At our dog park, they have to watch their dogs very closely. Some have been attacked by other people's dogs. I would not want anything to happen to Chester. I live by a dog park but am too afraid to take my 2 yorkies there. Just can't trust other people with their dogs. Yorkies tend to be fearless and if one dog growls at Spud, as small as he is he will go after them. Sure is cute seeing Chester run and have fun! I just washed my boys and am waiting for the home groomer to come. |

| We have Chester on Flea control. I had Chester on his leash for 20 min, before seeing how he and the other dog's interact together, making sure their wasn't an aggressive dog their They have a place for small dogs, and larger dogs. So Chester was in the area for small dogs, all though he was tiny compared to the others I stand next to him the whole time while he's running around, for that just in case moment He did great , and the other dog's were ok also Yes, He's getting a bath tonight, lol |

YT 2000 Club Member | dog Great! Sounds like Chester is fully covered with protection when playing at the park. My friend has a little Yorkie who likes to jump off the couch and I told her to go buy those little stairs. I hate to read where someone's Yorkie jumped off something and now has leg problems. They are so fragile. I wish I could protect all of them. Love little Chester, he is one beautiful little dog! |

| That's a good idea! I shot it using a DSLR camera with a 200mm lens on it, I was like 50' away when I shot that pic of him running at me I don't think were going to take him back their for a while The problem is, he's only over 3lbs. The other dogs were easy 15lb to 25lbs If they were started a fight with Chester, I'd have no chance of it not being life threating , on bit from a bigger dog could be fatal Another thing was I received a PM, with some good points Dog's poop and their owners are supposed to pick it up, but not always If any of those dogs have worms, Chester could easily get them again Chester has stairs and uses them all the time to get up onto the couch. He's fallen off the couch twice all ready, started yelping, thank goodness he didn't get hurt Our Bed is really high in our bedroom, because it sit's on a platform, then uses another platform, then a mattress ( Sleep Number ) bed. I have stairs built that's 3" high per step for little legs for our Yorkie that passed away this April, who always slept with us in bed Well, the other day, we forgot to close the bedroom door, Chester found his way into the bedroom, and fell off the bed I was heart broken, I herd his yelping and I went running in their, again, heart skipped a beat I was so upset My wife works nights 3 nights a week at the hospital. So we have a futon bed in the spare bedroom, with a nice 60 gallon Salt Water tank, that puts you right to sleep So the nights she's working, I move Chester's steps into that room, and his toys, and sleep with him. I did it last night, he loves it. At 2am I woke up this morning, he was curled up in a ball on my pillow, his fur was in my face, he was sleeping right next to me, lol |
