We went tonight to the mall and stuff and I saw 1 lady in Macy's with a Yorkie so I don't know, I never called. We just left the do not disturb sign on the door and went to eat and stuff then swung by the HUGE Petsmart and got her a few toys. I loved that mall, I told my boyfriend we needed to move there just so I could go the their mall all the time. haha |

Hi. I'm Lori and I have two furbabies. Dexter was born 12/9/07 and Daisy was born 12/14/07 (same day as my grandbaby!) We live in Hillsboro, which is about and hour east from Cincinnati. I have joined a meetup from there but have been unable to attend. With gas prices and all it makes it hard. I am glad to chat online with everyone though and swap stories. |

I am in Massillon Ohio (area) and have a male yorkie born March 16, his name is Monty. I'll get some pics posted here soon. He had a rough start to his little life, but everyday he is looking and getting so much better. I want to get some pics that show his current state. We are so proud of him and would love to connect with people locally. :aimeeyork |
Hi missdesis and lburns70, I am Brandy and right now i just have my Yorkie Jeter, but I waiting for Axl and Yumi Yasha to be old enough to come home to me I am from Sandusky Ohio. Nice that you could join us, I look forward to learning more about you two ladies. I just posted in the general discussion about a person wanting me to sell them my Jeter!! I think they were possibly drunk! What a way to start the day! We have a family reunion today at Osborn Park in Huron Ohio. I am taking Jeter, I have never taken him there before but I guess it's dog friendly, they are getting an off leash dog park started up soon. I hope we have fun! |
Happy Sunday everyone! :) Carson's Mom - The new groomer for Piccolo works out of her house in Taylor Mill, Ky. Her name is Miss Rita. If you want me to pm you with her address and telephone number, let me know. Hi Lori and Desiree! Welcome to YorkieTalk and this thread! We are so glad you are here. Adorame - How was the family union today? |

Well it was the same old same old at the reunion. We see every one at Christmas and Easter so I have no clue why we have to go every year to this shing ding:rolleyes: Jeter had fun at the park but I kept him close to me or one of the boy's because BIG DOGS were also walking around. They used to have a pool opened but no more:( we used to let the kids swim if it was nice out. So I hung out with my kids and my nieces and nephews, for some reason they think I am cool and they seek me out! This keeps the adults at bay. My 6 year nephew Jay Robert ( he was adopted when he was 2 by my sis in law, she also adopted his brother who was 1 at that time too) has mild Cereble Palsey, and he was over with me and Jeter and Jeter was just loving up on him and Jay Robert goes " Your my favorite Aunt Brandy because you let Jetes lick my face all the time" He was my Shadow the whole visit:D He is such a sweet little guy! I also had fun at the mall that we went to after leaving the park. I even took Jeter in his carrier and no one knew I had my puppy with me;) they have a sign posted saying NO DOGS the picture looks to be a Lab or simular dog on a leash....it did not have a picture of a purse with a puppy in it with line through it so what they don't know wont hurt:p |
Hi Lori and Desiree !! Welcome to Yorkietalk! We are glad to meet you! Adorame, glad the reunion went well!! Jeter sounded like he had a good time!! EmilyAnn-glad it is working out at the hotel....I agree...I absolutely love Florence also!! It grows and grows each time I have been there!!! Hope everybody had a good weekend!! |
Thank you Thank you for the warm welcomes to the group. :D I am new to all of this so I am not sure how this works. I am so grateful to have found this site and all of the wonderful fellow yorkie lovers that go with it. I look forward to being a part of the group. :animal36 |
Carson's Mom if you can't find one you are happy with I can reccomend my Groomer to you she owns a grooming salon and is about 5 min away from Kenwood Mall. Let me know if you want her number. Who is getting groomed ? How do you want him to look |
Brandy - It sounds like you had a big day! :) Yesterday, Piccolo took another ride in my husband's old car (Model-A) with Poquito (my daughter's dog.) They had a great time, until it started raining. We had to stop and put the top on the car. Also, I am so excited that my friend with the two Morkies has joined YorkieTalk. I am hoping she will post on this thread soon. Hope everyone has a great week. |
Glad to hear Poquito is feeling better!! That's the way the rain has been here...kinda just popping up!! Glad they enjoyed their ride!! |
Thank you, Lisa K., for your kind comment about Poquito. He is back to normal. :) How are all the furbabies doing with the pools this summer? Does anyone have pictures? I would love to see your guys and gals swimming! :D |
Good morning all! We are redoing our front porch today. I am getting it kiddie proof and puppy safe! I will post pictures of it as we make progress. I got an update on Yumi Yasha! She is doing great! I posted a picture of her over in the Photo thread if you want to see, the picture is small,I do not know how to make them bigger, besides, it was sent to me in an email. I will have to get a picture of Jeter in the pool he looks so goofy all wet! I never thought of taking the camera out when he was in the pool, I feel so stupid now! Well I have more coffee I need to get in me to start back up on the porch, I hope you all have a great day! |
Hi I'm new!!:) I have really been enjoying learning about YorkieTalk and all the nice furry friends everyone has. Sam and Annie are my babies and they are 3 year old Morkies. I live in Taylor Mill, KY which is outside of Cincinnati. Hope to hear from you soon. |

Welcome Donna to the Indiana Ohio Kentucky thread!! I'm originally from Cincinnati.....for a prom we went to the cool restaurant in Covington that spins around to view the city...it was so neat!! Looks like Virginia and California are neck and neck....... |
oo Is Donna Morkie 1 the one with the neat backyard and multi tiered deck?:D;) Oh yes adorame, glad you are getting pictures of YumiYashi and good luck with the porch project!!! |
Lisa K. - Yes, Donna is the one with the pretty deck and backyard. Her dogs are the ones I posted about, in this thread, a week or so ago. |
The porch is looking nice, still lots to do yet but it's moving along faster than I thought. I woke up with a very sore throat today and I have loss my voice:thumbdown My husband told me to relax and let the kids help out so I took pictures of them all working:) I get to paint when the time comes. I will post some pix of it all when it is finished. My sister had her Dr. appointment today and she is 35 1/2 weeks now and she is going in tomorrow and they are taking the babies because she blood presser was a bit to high today and they dont want any complications. So sometime after 7 am the babies will be here! They look to be close to 5 pounds each so we'll see...Keep your fingers crossed that all goes well! She slipped and said a name today so I think one is going to be baby Matthew SHhhhhh I was having a coughing spell so she thinks I did not hear it ;) |
Hi everyone....it is so cool that this whole list is of people who live in my corner of the world:-) My name is Michelle, I am 36, a nurse, wife of 18 years and mom of two boys, 18 and 14. I am on a search for my first Yorkie and I am so excited. I have PM a few of you asking for breeder referrals, I've got a few leads so far. I am so glad to find this site because even though I have had dogs for years, I have never had a Yorkie or a small breed. All of the pictures are awesome. I just turned 36 two days ago and this is sort of my birthday present to myself....something I have wanted for a long time but have never done for myself. I really feel like sharing my life with a Yorkie is something I want to do. Thanks for the warm welcome...your wealth of knowledge will come in handy when I bring my little one home. Michelle |

Jeter was also a birthday/christmas gift from my husband. I had wanted a Yorkie for over 10 years before I got my boy and I just love him up! My husband told me that I could get a girl and I started looking for a breeder and found her in June. Yumi Yasha is only 3 weeks old so I have a bit of a wait. Well my husband fell for this boy at our breeders but we waited a day to long to get him:( so my husband said to look for a new boy than, and I will be bringing Axl home at the end of July! I never thought that before this year was out I would be the puppy parent of 3 Yorkies!! It\'s a dream come true for me! You will be in puppy heaven once you get your baby! Good Luck! |
I got a call from my sister, after doing an ultra sound on the twins, they told her it would be safest to do a c section so sometime after 12 the were taking her back....I am waiting to get word every thing is OK..I will keep you all posted! I have raspatory infection and can\'t go up to see her nor can I watch her 2 children for her. |
