Awwww.... thanks everyone for your sympathies for Dad. He was a good man. At least I know he's with my Mom again, so I am secure in that fact. I'm up and getting ready for work (supposed to be anyway!). Finally slept good for the first time since I started 1st shift! LOL! We straightened up our kitchen last night. It had gotten so cluttered with the childrens schooling books (we homeschool year round) and papers and bookcases and just plain junk that I got a burr up my hiney and decided to get it straightened up! Now we have a kitchen table again, and the children's bookshelf and books have been moved into the living room. Just as easy access, and a little less trouble, I think. Hubby is busy cleaning out the storage unit (from all Mom's stuff, and we are slowly going through it). That'll save us $95 a month in storage fees! YEA! Anyhoo~ have a good day and I'd better go hop in the shower! |
1 Attachment(s) Update on Zach!! His surgery happened today, and it went good....He was in alot of pain after but once he got his meds he was ok. Thanks, we really appreciate all the prayers and support from all on YT. Oh and I wanted to let everyone know I was wrong on the number of surgeries that he has had this surgery was his 51st. I was only a few off but it was more than I thought. |
I am so glad things went well. Prayers and blessings being sent up for Zach today! :) |
Ashley - Glad to hear things went well with Zach. The picture on your page was amazing. It is so wonderful the kinds of things surgeons can do these days. He is in our thoughts and prayers. |
Ashley, glad things went good with Zac. We will keep him in our thoughts and prayers. He is such a handsome young man...I agree with Lisa on the picture on your page...it is truly remarkable what they can do. Hope everybody is enjoying their day! |
Indiana here Hi, I Live In Martinsville, In And Have 2 Yorkies. Females. One Is 5 Lbs And The Othe Is 3 1/2 Lbs. Am Looking For A Small Male So I Can Breed Them. Can Anyone Help?:) |
Yorkielvrim - Hello and Welcome to YorkieTalk and this thread. I do not know of any males. What are your girls names? |
names Their names are Cookie and Bailey. We rescued Cookie from Miami, FL during Hurricane Wilma while we were working with the Red Cross there. She is still terrified of storms. Bailey is one of her offsprings. Know nothing on how to post pics here. |
Yorkielvrm-Welcome to Yorkietalk! When I saw where you live, my first thought was the flooding....I had just seen on cnn where Martinsville is flooded now? Is everything ok where you are located? |
Hello everyone! I see this thread has passed 400! Can you believe that? It has been great getting to know everyone and their furbabies. Yorkielvrim - Your furbabies have such sweet names! Lisa and Tammy - I forgot to ask if either of you were affected by the flooding. Sounds horrible. Hope everything is okay in your neighborhoods. |
Hi Lisa...no I didn't get any flooding. It was north of us..mid/central of the state. I couldn't believe how bad it was and didn't even realize any flooding had even happened until I saw it on cnn. Thank you for asking:)! All of you people in Cincy, do you know if there is going to be a pet day at the Red's game this year? I feel like I have been a terrible fan as of late, I have not even been to the new stadium. We went the last year Riverfront was there, and part of it was down where you could see the river. It made me sad:(. I can remember the open house at riverfront like 1970. I think I was I was like 7. I hear the new one is nice though. How are everybody's pets doing?? Any of you with pools, are you finding your dogs like/or dislike the water? I so hoped Winston would love it, BUT....I think we have a little ways to go till he gets to that point;)!! Oh yes Lisa about the 400 posts yay!! This is like my most favorite thread to come and visit. I love how it is ongoing!! |
Hey Winston~ I have a little blow-up boat for the grandbabies, and we put Cordy in it this after noon... I pulled him around a bit in the pool and although he didn't really carry on too much, he was scared. But it was SOOOO cute! LOL! HIya Lisa~ WOOHOO!!! Over 400 posts! YIPEE! We rock! Yorkielvrim~ Welcome! How far is Martinsville from Richmond? I see many people from Indiana, but a rare few from here! Well, I'm off for the evening... we are having balogna sandwiches for supper and are going to watch an oldie. Promised the children it would be funny for them to see. "Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure". (Geez..... our children don't know THAT one? LOL!) |
Hey Cordy....maybe sometime we could swim together;):)....I could bring my lifevest or maybe we could share your boat:D! i'm still scared of the water too....don't feel bad! Martinsville is south of Indy between there and Blooomington down 37. You are kinda way over...East... there in Richmond arent ya?!! I was only there once many years ago. I lived in Cincy and Lawrenceburg IN, though ,and went to school at East Central with an address of Brookville....that was sorta getting closer to you?;)!! Have you ever been to Metamora, IN? |

I got my furbaby at 5 months old, he's almost 7 months old now. He was a hellian at first. We've had to break him of A LOT of things. But now he's just adores me and has to always follow me and checks up on me at night. He also is my personal alarm clock. he wakes me up about 10:30 every morning. He has two play buddies in this apartment building. A half jack russell/ half beagle and then a pug puppy. He loves people, kids, and animals.. yet is protective of me. Oh yeah my little furbaby isn't so little. He's a teapot weighing at 12.5lbs |
your teapot sounds so sweet!! Isn't it cute how they check up on us? What part of Ohio are you moving to? Are you originally from there? Welcome to the thread. We are wanting to have a meetup in the fall which sounds close to when you will be returning. |
I have been to Metamora...once. IT was neat. That's a field trip for the children here when they are in school. I remember cause ours went there with the public school system (when they attended public schools, that is!). I am orginally from Ohio, right about the middle, from a little place called Crestline. Is that close to where you are going to be moving to, upindust? |

Hi to the new person:wavey: I am Brandy and my little guy is named Jeter, well his big AKC name is Petrick's Sir Jeter Pendragon but we call him Jeter;) I am from Sandusky Ohio, you know Cedar Point;) Nice to have you and your furbaby join us!! Winston's mommy, Jeter is afraid of the pool too. He does look so cute when he swims though. I was thinking of getting him a little wadding pool for babies so he could play in it on the hot day's . My husband was teasing me and said I should just get a plastic dish tub since he is so dang tiny. Yorkielvrim, you asked about finding a small stud, sometimes breeders will offer stud service, my breeder does. Look on their web site and see if they offer it. Also once Jeter gets all his testing done, I am going to start a breeding program up with my Mom. You are free to PM me if you would like information on my breeder. |
I don't know if I've posted on this yet. I'm Emily and I live in Canmer, KY which is very close to Elizabethtown, KY & Glasgow, KY. I've had my baby Lilly since September and we're expecting to get another pretty soon. She'll be a year old July the 8th! |
adorame~ I was born in Sandusky, Ohio. And I know Cedar Point well! |

Hi everyone hope your weekend was wonderful. MY DD is getting married next month and there was a wedding shower for couples given by her fiance's cousin in Wilmington Ohio yesterday. It was a cook out type and the weather was perfect. My Husband and I got there at 1pm and most everyone left between 7-8 pm. I was exhausted this morning !!! It was a great day ! How can I post some pictures ? |
I have been posting replies etc. on mysite by pulling up our social group but I noticed they aren't getting on this thread? I am not sure why they are going onto the social group messages but not being put on this thread? Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? If you haven't seen my post please go look at it, I have posted some concerns about my new puppy who is 12-13weeks old he had to be hospitalized in the emergency vet hospital at PNC. I am so worried. I am glad Zach's surgey went well. We have been praying for his recovery. I have a son who is 16. |

Lisa - Glad to hear about no flooding in this area. You asked about Red's Pet Day. I do not know anything about it, but if I hear something, I will let you know. The new stadium is so nice. I hope you come to a game, someday. Chimicole - Has your furbaby been back on the "boat" again? Lol. It sounds so cute. So many new people to this thread! Welcome Upindust, Kait1664, and Emilyann. We are so glad you are here. We hope to have a get-together in the fall, when all the new puppies get big enough to socialize, and we hope you can come, too. |
