I am off work the weekend of Mt Adams Reindog parade. Is there some where we can all meet and then go to the parade ? |

Last year we parked in a garage right across from the Monastery that you start from for the parade and it was pretty simple. I would suggest for anyone planning on going to get there early! It draws a pretty big crowd and anyone familiar with Mt. Adams knows it can be hard to find parking!! |

hey everyone!! I wanted to drop in and see how everyone was doing. I haven't been active on here lately, been going through a pretty rough time, my husband was layed off and i've been trying to keep the roof over our head by working more. Hi Ashley! I can relate to you soo much! My dh was "laid off" back in May (while we were in Sandusky with my Dad the last week of his life). Boss called him and left a voice mail! How nice. Indianapolis here. 2 Attachment(s) :animal-paHi! We are in the Indianapolis, IN area. I have 1 adult yorkie, just got her in July 08. Roxie is a sweetie and much cherished. She was pregnant when she was given to me and we were privileged to witness her having 4 pups. Sept 11, 2008. We are enjoying the pups and have only placed 1 so far.:rolleyes: With my step-son and his wife. LOL We also have 3 non-yorkie dog family members. A registered Bassett Hound and a Chow/Lab mix and also a Boxer/Lab mix. The 2 mix dogs are neutered of course.:animal36 I love all my babies completely... BUT - Roxie is my extra special princess baby. If you could ask her she would say she "owns" me. Anyway.... here are some pics... |

Well, finally! I am glad to see another newbie on here, and from Indy! I am south of Indy (Greenwood) and would love more meet-ups. My Lexi is very lonely and depressed from being separated from her little buddy, which was over a year ago, but she is the sweetest thing since sugar!!! I have been unsuccessful at getting pics posted on here, but I keep trying! My IT guy said my camera setting was too high. |

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't been around lately. I'm still trying to get my life back together, my husband is still out of work, but he has an interview tomorrow morning, so keep your fingers crossed. He also is going for his assessment test for Lebanon Correctional on February 17th, if he passes all the tests he will go for training to be a corrections officer but we don't know when the training will be, it could still be months away. I would love to do another meet-up. Hopefully we are in a position to travel if we decide to have it in Indiana, that's if the ladies out there are still interested in hosting it. I hope everyone is doing well. I'll try to check back in soon!! |

HI there gals!!! ......... I almost forget all about this thread...... we definitely need to keep it roll'in!!! Ashley, hope that all works out for the hubby!!! Keep us posted....... I 'll be keeping my fingers crossed for him! I have been looking at my calendar......... are any of you ladies up for a meetup this spring?? Maybe in May???? I am thinking about getting a plan together, unless someone else has started one already ....... if it is scheduled and on calendars early enough, there won't be as many conflicts...... and hopefully more can come!!! |

I love the idea of a meetup in Spring! As some of you are aware we have been dealing with some serious medical issues with some family members and my time is much more limited, but I really hope we can attend! |
4 Attachment(s) I can't wait for the plans to get moving on the meet-up. Hopefully this time nothing gets in the way of me being able to attend lol, although I did have a pretty darn good excuse!! I am attaching some pictures, two of them are Bandit this past Saturday after being groomed he didn't want much to do with the camera, the one good one is because I have a treat in my hand. Also he doesn't much look like he just got groomed because as soon as we got in the door he went rolling around on the floor and would NOT stop shaking lol, it was pretty funny. The baby is my nephew, the one born the day of our meet-up. and the other picture is mine and Billy's Christmas picture we had taken. P.S. The red in my hair is not an potical illusion lol, it's a long story, one that has to do with my Mother-in-law coloring my hair, and it the red was not on purpose but I matched the tree!! Oh and Lucas (my nephew) is now almost 6 months old. That means it's been almost 6 months since our meet-up!! |
I'm definitely up for a meetup in the spring. Although I won't be able to travel as far this time around because we have a little one now, Alexander Conner Elliott. He was born New Year's Eve. If the meetup is in Ohio and is relatively close by we'll definitely be there with our gang. Also, I do go to monthly yorkie meetups in Akron, Ohio if anyone wants the web site to join. :) |
