Welcome again Michelle!! Glad you found the Ohio/Indiana/Kentucky thread!! Adorame, I am so excited your sister is finally ready to deliver the twins. Darn...so sorry about your respiratory infection...it never fails ..the timing does it?:rolleyes:!! Lisa and Pic and All...I checked on the Cincinnati Reds website and Pet Night is September 17th this year. I have been trying to bring a link to this thread, but have not had luck so far. I will work on that more later, but they said to get tickets early because that event sells out quickly. I really would like to try to go, and if anyone else may be interested, please let me know....I think they have a pet parade around the warning track, and a fetch contest, and various give aways.....I think it would be a blast to see all the pet there!! The pictures from last year are adorable! I think it is $24 for a combo seat ...you and your dog. Like I said, I will try to post a link....I have to go into work this afternoon, but will try later.......Also Lisa E. hope you had a great time at the Reds game last night!!! Hope everyone is having a great hump day and week all together! Lilly & I are ready to go home and we're going tomorrow night after my DB gets off work. We're heading back to Florence tonight so I can run by JoAnn Fabrics or Hobby Lobby and get some more fabric. We may swing back by the mall too because they had a cute Yorkie sign in this Americana type store. We're also going out to eat. I gave Lilly a bath earlier and she's tuckered out laying by me on the couch asleep. |
Hey everyone!! So today we got the keys to our first place!! We are so excited to start moving in....of course I had to work today so we cant start until I get off work in an hour but either way....I FINALLY have my own place!! we are going to look for a couch and loveseat tonight because what we were going to have fell through (go figure) so everyone pray I can get some financing on some furniture or I am going to be sitting in lawn chairs :( Anyways hope everyone is having a good week!! |
My sister had the twins!! they were born at 2:47 and 2:48. Baby A is 5lbs 8 ounce and is 18 1/2 inches long. Baby B is 5lbs 15 ounces and is also 18 1/2 inches long! Both are doing great and my sister sounded good and happy that they are doing well and will not be transported to NICU!! They have not figured out what baby is getting what name yet so I'll have to let you all know when I find out!! |

new floors finally home improvements in ne ohio..:) i got 23 boxes of ceramic tile..:eek: finally new floors.. doggy friendly..:aimeeyork now i have to bust my butt to get it down..:animal-pa we are installing ourselves.. :eek: but it will be so nice to rip out all the ruined carpet and get my house looking good..:animal36 this project will take a few weeks for sure :) |
1 Attachment(s) Winstonw: yup its in Fairfield!! Its a townhouse, and it is fully remodeled....they ripped everything out all the way down to the subfloors....It is so nice!! We are so excited to get everything in there....we did get a couch and loveseat yesterday!! and it is so big and comfy!! It was like our dream couch. You know that one show that has the girl and the big red couch?? she pulls all kinds of stuff out of it during the show (kids show) well I feel like i'm sitting on that couch when I'm on mine because If I sit all the way back my feet stick almost straight out like a 5 year old!! LOL I love it....I've always loved stuff like that....and it is so cushony!! Anyways here is a picture of just the couch....of course its the stock pic of it but I forgot to take one myself. |

Hi Everybody!!!..... Hope that you all are having a great Holiday weekend!! We just returned from camping........ had a great time!!!! Hopefully I will be able to post a few July 4th camping pics soon!!! I just noticed that some of you are going to the Reds Bark in the Park....... sounds like a great time!! If the game was earlier... and I didn't have to get up in the middle of the night.... 4:30 AM :eek::eek: ...... to go to work on Thursday, it would be a great time!! :) I am considering getting a small morning or afternoon meetup together this fall........ anyone interested?? If so, how far would you be willing to drive to go for a meetup that lasts 3-5 hours?? Just curious if it would be worth putting it together. Anyway, sorry I haven't been on "OUR" thread for awhile..... gosh it has been one thing after another since the KC meetup!!! Busy Busy Busy..... time to take a breather!!! Where did you go camping? Also, We would love to get-together for a meet-up. I'll be glad to help you plan, etc. Hopefully, most of us can come, since we have been talking about this! :D My husband and I just returned from a long weekend at Put-in-Bay, Ohio, which is an island on Lake Erie. We had a great time. Piccolo stayed home with Robby, the dog sitter. It was great going, but I missed Piccolo, so glad to be home. Tammy - Happy, Happy Birthday! So, what exciting things did everyone else do this weekend? |
Lisa, Wasn't Putin Bay a neat place???? We went there a few years ago..... camped at the campground at Cedar Point. We took the Jet Express to the Island. Shelby and Seymour came with us. We really enjoyed the little shops there and had a fish & chips dinner (ordered take out) in the park. They rode on the golf cart with us on the island, too!! :D HEY EVERYONE!!! Are there any CAMPERS HERE that might consider a "group" weekend camp trip sometime???? What do ya think?????? Might be fun AND we could make Saturday (4-5 hour brunch or dinner potluck) as a meetup for those that don't camp. ANYONE???? Ideas??? Takers??? Pros?? Cons?? |
I am going to Put in bay in September for 3nights . It is there New Years Weekend We are going with 4 couples. |
Im in if it is my weekend off. I work every other weekend. This was my weekend to work (July 5 and 6th ) if you are looking at a calender. I can't do it Ausgust 23 or September 12 or Labor Day weekend. |
Put In Bay and Kelly's Island are like my back yard..along with Cedar Point;) we go over on the Jet Express and the Goodtime ( Kelly's AKA the Booze Cruse) I love the shops over their! and a few of the restaurants they have over their have great food! My mother in law grew up on the Island too. We go for Christmas in July and also the Halloween cruse. Fun Fun Fun!! |
Ooo a booze cruise:D...my hubby and son have always wanted to go to Cedar Point to ride the coasters!! Holiday World is right by us (son worked there last year), and King's Island is my ole stomping ground....that sounds fun.... I am game for camping/meetup...... REcouperated I have recooped after walking for the dance instructor of Dance tech. she had pulled a muslce in her back so I walked for her to help out the children dancing in the parade after our float. Sean Astin was in our parade as the grand master. Alot of people brought their movies to have him autograph. He goes to our church when they are in town visiting his inlaws. My kids have seen him in church around Easter but I have always been cleaning up after our breakfast. I got so sun burned on my face. REmember alittle thing called sun screen ya for the kids but forget to put in on myself . It is great to hear about all the babies and they are all doing well. My daughter gave birth to a boy 6-18th zt 2am. She is 20 years old she had dropped her boy friend and she made a decision to give the baby to a friend of our family, who have been trying to have children for 10 years. They were told they could never have children. She felt it was terrrible for her to raise a child on her own struggling to pay her bills and go to school. When she knew someone who would make wonderful parents and wanted a baby so much. I have felt torn by this decision but the adoptive parents are allowing us to be in little Roe's life. I have been praying this was God's a will and a chance for her to make something out of her life. I made her come home with me and have tried to spend some quality time with her. I have felt numb.She knew we would have been behind her if she had kept the baby, she felt this was how it was supposed to work out all along. The father told her he absolutely didn't want to have anything with her or the baby. That hurt her very much. I have been so worried about Davey. My pups are 6 weeks old now. They are all doing great. I love watching them. I love watching all the new babies in our life right now. |
