Winston is about 6 months old and weighs about 3.2 pounds currently. I'm guessing he may be about 4 pounds when he is done growing. This IS a great plan, Jay!!! Definitely will let you know when I will be planning on heading to Louisville in March..... and it would be great to get a little group together for dinner after the show, too!!!

I just had a thought -- if folks are bringing their Yorkies with them do we need to find a place to meet/eat that will accomodate them, too?

Possibly..... I don't think that I will be taking anyone with me.... as far as my furkids... but there may be some that will want to.

Just noticed: The YTCA Yorkie show is Wed. March 14th. The Louisville Kennel Club show is the 15, 16, 17, & 18th.

Are most folks interested in the YTCA show or the LCA -- or both!

The Yorkie Specialty is really interesting to watch, but if you are also looking to do some shopping for any particular doggy items, none of the vendors are open (some of them are just setting up on Wed). I have tried to go on Wed for the specialty and again on Sat for the show (trying to work around the time of the Yorkie class) and also to do some shopping. Not sure if I will do both this year, I will have to check the calendar and also with Lisa to see what will work for her this year. Are there any specific days that are best for you?

Oh, the time is getting near. I liked going to the show on a Friday last year. We were still able to see Yorkies and shop too. :) Should we check our calendars Shelby and Seymour? Also, I think I told you earlier that there is another YT member from Northern Ky. that would like to come along. Can't wait.

I will check at work on Monday if that Friday is available for me to take vacation and if so ..... it sounds like a plan! ;) will that work for the other YT member? .... and would it work for YorkiMini?

What size clothes does she have on? Beautiful little girl.

She lives in Moores Hill Indiana. She breeds yorkies and S***zus sorry spelling. It would be so cute to have matching outfits for the meet up.

About the food, a picnic sounds like a good idea! We could either all bring something or pitch in some money and let those close to the event site, purchase the food. Either way is fine with me, I'm sure those us out of town could find a grocery store near there or buy food to bring with us that won't spoil. Either that or bring drinks. I'm fine with whatever everyone decides on.

Mamaj - we are putting together a meet up - but it may be a bit far for you to come to - it is going to take place July 14th - with the 15th being a rain date and we are meeting at Bow Wow Beach Stow, Ohio's Off-Leash Dog Park | Bow Wow Beach Volunteers

Check it out and see if you can make it - although I don't know if your little one will be finished with her vaccines by then.... We have a thread going about this in the regional section.

It sounds like there is going to be a great meet-up in Ohio! Hope you will get to go. :)

In our Cincinnati area, there is a meet-up club that meets once a month. I have attended before, but it has been awhile.

Cincinnati Yorkie & Petite Pup Club.....Small Dog. Big Bark. (Fairfield, OH) - Meetup

Some of us (YorkeTalk Members) also usually get together at the dog show in Louisville in March and the dog show in Georgetown during Labor Day weekend.

Hopefully, you will get to meet other YT members and their pups. I always enjoy getting together. :)

Oh Ashley, so great to hear from you again! I still have a photo album on YT showing the great meetup you planned years ago.

Time flies and amazing that Bandit is four now. :) For us... besides Piccolo, we now have a Min Pin, used-to-be stray, named Vivi, and a foster Yorkie, for Yorkie Haven Rescue, named Buster B.

Anyway, welcome back!
