other than on YT I don't know these ladies but I have to say I am REALLY worried that all is OK with Stacey. I have been reading her posts from Day 1 and I always respected her. I followed Michiko's story about getting her pup. And I don't have a bad word for both Ladies. I do agree Michiko should get her papers for her baby. But I am Really Worried abour Sylvan (stacey) Has any one talked to her at all I know it says she has been on if you look at her profile but has she really? It may be some one else using her PC.

I feel that the only thing that has been accomplished here is that Sylvan's Yorkies' reputation has been ruined, on this site at least. There is no damage control that can remove that because the seed has already been planted. It certainly hasn't, and probably won't get you your AKC papers Michiko.

I agree with alot of the things you said except I really dont believe that Stacy's reputation has been ruined here or anywhere else. Stacy, if you are reading this I hope you dont feel that way either. This is only 3 dissatisfied customers and they dont even seem to be angry, just confused and worried about what is going on. I believe all it would take is for Stacy to contact them in private and to show them that she is doing her best to work things out and then I am sure each one of them would be more than happy to post that all is taken care of and it would be done with. Nothing else would need to be said. I dont know Sylvan or Stacy personally but I know they built a good reputation over years of hard work and dedication and a love for the breed. This thread isnt going to destroy that.

Getting papers from a akc litter that tells you both dogs were akc should not depend on what you pay. If you paid $25 you should get papers.

Francie, I for one can't see how a little thread on the internet could do any more harm to Stacy's rep than what has helped her in the past.

With all due respect, and this is in no way related to this particular situation, but yes, one "little thread on the internet" COULD do a great deal of damage to someone's reputation. It has happened before, from "a little thread" that started on this board. That started much the way this one did and there ended up being a lot more people involved and damaged that just the two actually involved in the situation. Do you honestly think that the issues discussed here only remain in discussion here? They don't--they extend elsewhere. It would be great and wonderful if everyone could truly be "friends" and everyone did what was right morally, but we all know that sadly that is not the case.

I've followed this thread along w/ a lot of others...I'm not a breeder nor have I been a long time member on here either, but I do have a certain amount of respect for the responsible,ethical & honest breeders I've come to know on here, including Stacy....this has been sad for all parties involved,from what I can tell Stacy has been breading for awhile now & is respected for what she does & these recent problems seem to be totally out of character for her, there clearly is something wrong....

There is nothing else to say on this subject anymore in this thread, everything that can be said has been said...a big important piece of the puzzle is missing right now...it's like the last page of a book has been ripped out..so the curiosity & concern will continue w/o that last page...

I really hope for everyones sake all parties concerned gets some sort of satisfaction soon & all is resolved, every one involved must have a heavy heart right now...

I agree, Michiko should probably seek legal representation. More might get done. BUT, the fact that she (unlike so many Americans nowa days) chose not to jump to a lawsuit says a lot about her. She is giving the benefit of the doubt. She is providing the opportunity for a wrong to be made right. How many people truly do that this day in age? I applaud her for using every means possible before reverting to legal action for breach of contract.


As far as evidence, how can she show you that she does not have the AKC papers? Does she need to show you email correspondence? Phone bills? Gas receipts from her travels to the breeder? Seriously come on. You yourself said that the breeder shouldnt have to prove anything to anyone on this board, yet you are asking Michiko to prove to you her being wronged? I raise the BS flag on that.


Would I want that done to me? First off, I would not put myself in that situation. I would hold myself to that contract. Have you put yourself in Michkio's shoes? Have you not been disrespectful to her? Her feelings? Now, if this other party decides to post then guess what. We (including Michiko) would have that "OTHER" side of the story. Do you honestly think that had Michiko had the breeders story, her side, some inkling of what was going on that she would have posted here...

I know I wouldn't have if I knew what was going on with my situation. Papers or not.




Look at it this way. You bought a used car. The owner says "I'll give you the pink slip as soon as you get insurance on it"; you get your insurance as per the contract and go to get your pink slip only to not be able to get ahold of the person you bought the vehicle from. No returned phone calls, no returned emails. They have no correspondence with you. You want your pink slip. How would you feel? You PAID for it didn't you? I would think that you would want that piece of paper that you PAID for, and was in your contract.


I am not normally one to get heated on an internet forum. IT IS JUST THE INTERNET! It is a TOOL. A TOOL is all that Michiko is using this forum as. A TOOL to get what is rightfully hers. Please, grow up. I have no relation to anyone on here, have no clue who Stacy is, nor Michiko. But I can also see when someone is stirring up drama just to cause it. I honestly hope that this thread does not get locked and that this crap drama resides. There is no need for it. Freedom of speech is in full effect throughout the internet. Not everyone has the same opinion, and obviously yours differs from the majority. I can respect that. Hell, that is what I go to work everyday to defend. Your right to say what you wish. But, there is no need to step on Michiko's thread and say that she is running this breeders name through the mud when you are trying to drag this thread through it as well.

We have ethic's, we have our word..and not much else that counts.

If I breed the finest Yorkies in the world and do not honor my word, nothing else matters IMO...it is all for nothing!
If I breed a puppy with a health problem, screw up the AKC papers or whatever...and I make it right with the buyer..honor my guarantee, return the money, call and support, anythign it takes..then you must say I am ethical and a woman of my word..we all make mistakes, we all can have problems with health and maybe AKC problems through errors, that is not the point, it is ethic's.

Cher, of Goldenray is a warrior about ethic's and that is why I like her, so few have them today.

Reporting a breeder to the AKC is not an evil thing to do IF you have a problem that it AKC related. You are doing the breeder a favor by getting them back on the right track..
I, totally expect a buyer to report me if I fail to honor my guarantee or word related to AKC...I will bitch and moan, but I will also get my act together for the breed I love, if I want to continue.
