Michiko thank you personally from me for giving me insight into what can possibly occur when buying a fur baby from a breeder. You have been clear and concise as to why you were posting and basically looking for some other ideas as to handle this from seasoned breeders and members on this site..I so know intent from you whatsoever to tarnish anyones reputation...you had a situation, handled it for a long period of time with no results, posted here for help in how to handle and that is what the thread should be..all this other stuff is not relative at all.....and that is my opinion...and i say this with a smile

I don't entertain bashing so if anyone has a negative comment on my post..don't put it here email me privately so we can get back on track with this thread and give some constructive help to Michiko...after all That is why this thread was started..

I just came across all this and my head is just spinning.. what craziness. I was in a similar situation with my male and akc papers which took 11 months to get. It was very hard too because I really believed in the woman I got him from as you do in your breeder. Just wanted to say it worked out for me in the end and I hope it will for you soon too. So I have been reading all of this and I am sorry you have not gotten your papers and I am very sorry about the sick puppy even more than the missing papers, but what worries me even more is ....Where are Stacy's friends and does any one know if she is all right?? Has any one heard from her in any way. I do not know Stacy but I would think that if all this has just happened and she has had all this trouble something most be wrong. I hope we find out soon that she is okay.
She is not responding to people
Her web site is down
I am a bit concerned, aren't you????

I hope you get your papers, and I pray that the puppy will come through the surgery and I pray that Stacy is okay too.

Speaking from personal experience, I would have to say the above post is true! We are all only human and sometimes in our lives things happen beyond our control....we may face physical, emotional, financial, or spiritual troubles in our lives at anytime, and sometimes we aren't strong enough to handle it or it becomes so overwhelming we feel the answer is to disappear. Sometimes we as humans are not capable of handling things in the best possible way that we should be.

Now I do not know enough about Sylvan and her breeding practices so I cannot make an comments about her, but I do hope that where ever she is that she is completely whole, that nothing has happened to her, that it is something as simple as having an internet connection problem, and that she will contact the people she needs to soon and talk with them.

What she says to them, I don't need to know, but I pray that they each get the answers they are looking for. No matter our feelings for Sylvan, I think she needs our prayers, too.

Michiko I hope she talks to you and provides you with your papers.

Timmy, I pray Lily has a fast recovery and that she will be whole again.

Kalina, I am sorry for the experience you have had too.

I hope this can all be resolved peacefully and with grace.

Wow, I just read this thread from beginning to end!!

First, I just want to ask, has there been any updates or recent news?

Secondly, I find this thread shocking.
I have been here on yt for a little over a year now. I too looked up to Stacy and had hopes of maybe getting a puppy from her someday.

I am a little worried about Stacy, I find it unusual that she is not responding and that her site is down and no one has heard from her. Yes it does show that she logs on but that happens with me all the time because everytime someone here gets on the computer I am logged in.

But the fact is this issue has been unresolved for 5 months!! I could see if something happened to her recently but what happened to all those other months when she could have resolved this situation.

I do feel she has brought this upon herself, 5 months is plenty of time to resolve such a simple thing. All she had to was be honest and let the OP know what was going on.

I have no bad thoughts or feelings towards Stacy or Michiko.

I feel Michiko is entitled to the papers she paid for and has been very understanding and patient and has tried everything she could. She has not said anything bad about Stacy, all she wants is an explanation from her and the papers she paid for. I hope this matter can be resolved for both parties soon.

Oh and I have to say, I completely agree with Pat about morals and ethics!!

I am so sorry. I don't know either of you since I am new here. I am a old time breeder so I do know a lot. The akc comes out and checks all my records once a year and they are always correct. If not they will cancel all your dogs.

They do a great job, they bring a computer with them and compare records, so there is no messing up.

Something like this could have happened to her, or if she had purchased the mother or father of your pup from someone who was checked later and didn't pass, her dogs would be cancelled too. So you see she could have a reason BUT SHE DON'T HAVE ONE FOR NOT RESPONDING.

Lots can happen so don't give up. The courts don't do to well for anyone. You may get a judgement but it is just a piece of paper that is uncollectable.
It is only as good as the person. You can catch more bees with honey. Easy does it. Best of luck Glory
