Prehaps, since I am a breeder I see this from an angle that is different...
We have ethic's, we have our word..and not much else that counts.

If I breed the finest Yorkies in the world and do not honor my word, nothing else matters IMO...it is all for nothing!
If I breed a puppy with a health problem, screw up the AKC papers or whatever...and I make it right with the buyer..honor my guarantee, return the money, call and support, anythign it takes..then you must say I am ethical and a woman of my word..we all make mistakes, we all can have problems with health and maybe AKC problems through errors, that is not the point, it is ethic's.

Cher, of Goldenray is a warrior about ethic's and that is why I like her, so few have them today.

Reporting a breeder to the AKC is not an evil thing to do IF you have a problem that it AKC related. You are doing the breeder a favor by getting them back on the right track..
I, totally expect a buyer to report me if I fail to honor my guarantee or word related to AKC...I will bitch and moan, but I will also get my act together for the breed I love, if I want to continue.
