| Well I sent my letter and to my surprise I got a phone call from Petsmart. The lady I talk to was rather nice. She apologized to me for my treatment and said she sympathized with me being a dog owner her self. She informed me that she had looked in to my major transactions I have made at their store and I was a value customer to them. She also informed me that on the day I was in the grooming dept a customer who witness my treatment also called in a complaint. To make a long story short I am to meet the manager who was an a**hole to me his supervisor. Also the groomer who groomed my dogs. I have to take Remy and Martini with me. she asked me what could she do to make this right would I like a gift card and a couple of voucher for fee grooming. She didn't want to lose me as a customer. I told her what I wanted her to do was to pull the note/instructions from my last 3 appointments and compare them. She agreed. I also want an apology from the manager and groomer and the groomer fired. I explained to her that the groomer is giving a service to the public and if the display I saw was how she interacts with customers then she needs to re-think her career choice. No customer should have to receive the harsh treatment I had to endure from her. I also reminded her that I have to look at my poor yorkies every day and the lost of their beautiful coats because some groomer half did her job. She apologized again and said this matter would be taken care of.

| Good for you! Just don't give in to her being so nice. Besides all the nice things they will give you to keep you as a customer, you should really push to get the groomer fired. Be sure to not take your dogs back there to get groomed. Though they might fire the groomer and get a new one, the manager will still be there. Don't take any chances.

| I don't think I will go back what ever they try to give me. I'm looking for a groomer that doesn't belong to a chain. There are other places I can by my pet supplies. If I have to I will buy online. someone told me to go to a school and find the best student and see if they might make a house call outside of school. I will come up with some thing. As far as the lady being nice she might be a nice person but she can not put a price on the wrong that was done.

| MzKim - I am so relieved to hear that Petsmart is making this right for you. This is worth a million for their efforts and your's also to show that "customer service" is still TOP PRIORITY in businesses. I just love a happy ending to a story...

| Oh my goodness... I would have to beat someone down for that. That's insane. I can't believe they would do that. You should stand out in front with protest signs or something... that would be cool. With your dog wearing a sign saying "Look what these people did to me!" Okay so maybe I'm a trouble maker, haha.... |

| The complain letter you wrote was excellent and Im glad you got an affirmative response to it. I hope the "groomer" and manager get what is coming to them. Good luck and please keep us posted how the meeting goes. |

| Well I had my meeting today. I have mix feelings about it too. Well I walked in the door and the first person I zero in on was the a**hole manager. I went to the cashier and asked to speak to the supervisor and I had an appointment. I walked in his office ready to do battle. He asked me to tell him what happen so I did. I pulled out all of my pictures of Remy and the small amount of Martini. He ask me why did I have more pictures of one dog than the other. I explain that I only had Martini for 2 1/2 weeks. Out of his mouth came " Oh my this is not good." I jump at that and explain that this was Martini's first time to the groomer. Next the manager and groomer were called in. They look like a deer in head lights standing in that office. I was loving it! I was told right in front of both of them that it was Petsmarts fault that my dogs were shaven. And he can not bring their coats back as they once were but he hopes I will remain a customer of Petsmart. I was given my full refund and $75 in store credit. But the one thing I wanted the most was my apology. And I got that. It was not from heart and the groomer's apology was kinda rude. But I got it and I felt at that moment as brief as it was I had wiped those little cocky smiles off of their faces. Then every thing crashed the dumb a** groomer said under her breath "They look better shaved" I lost it! I backed her in to the door and told her that I should take those same damn clippers she used on my babies and shave her from her a** bone to the top of her head. And if she ever came near my dogs again I will sue her no class having a**! I picked up Remy & Martini and walked out. I was so mad when I got to my car I just sat there and cried. I had to calm down. I drove around and took Remy and Martini to the park. When we got home I had a message from Petsmart. It was the supervisor saying sorry again and to inform me that the groomer no longer works for them. It's over but I let my self get so wrapped up in one stupid person. I still want to find another groomer for them.

Donating Member | THAT RUDE so called "groomer' DESERVED to be fired - I can't believe after getting called into the managers office AND meeting with you anyone would EVER say that - No matter WHAT they look like after being groomed - if that's NOT what you requested - then it wasn't done right.... and to say they look better now was just plain COCKY and stupid. Wow - now I've heard it all - Petsmart really needs to get their act together with their grooming dept - for a basic cut with some breeds I'm sure they're ok - but for specialized cuts like yorkies and poodles etc....I hear way to many stories just like yours...though I think yours is one of the worst as far as shaving...You must be so frustrated ...to have their employee STILL push buttons and be a smart a** is really bad and Petsmart needs to fix their ongoing employee problem. I'd take whatever they gave me....spend it and never go back - give the grooming certificates to someone else if you can - OR make them give you cash for THAT too and tell them you don't ever want to use their services again - AFTER you shop of course. |

| Good for you!!! Maybe you should have requested to shave her down!!! I cannot believe how some people just cannot accept their mistakes and apologize for them. It makes me so sick. Hopefully that groomer will remember this for a long time and I hope the manager feels like the biggest a** for standing behind her! Unfortunately her responses show her character and she has probably learned nothing from this incident. She'll pi** someone off again before too long. In the mean time keep you babies warm. Their hair will be back before you know it and they will be as beautiful as ever.

| The supervisor did the right thing by firing her...and at least he let you know what he did. Take a breath...you did the right thing. More people should have complained about her...I am sure this wasn't he first time doing something like this. Good for you. |
