Im glad that the so called Groomer got fired, she had no ethics. To make that comment was so low. She got what she deserve. I agreed with villette, used the certificates and don't go back. Keep your little ones warm and you will see their hair will grow soon and prettier.

In my Petsmart the 1st time u bring your dog they give you the paper to fill out. they then ask if you allow them to use clippers/shave obviously i circled NO 5times. does te petsmart you went to have this question?

I wish they would have had a sheet like that I might not be were I am now.

I'm so sorry you had such a horrible experience with them. The whole charade sounds like a total nightmare. That is one good reason, I think, to avoid chain stores. You never "know" the person who will be grooming your pet. I go to a private groomer and can watch the entire time she is there and that is somehow comforting to me. I will eventually groom Kacee, if she ever calms down enough

as I did Muffin. It was wonderful for Muffin to not have to go through that ordeal, especially in her old age. Good luck in your search for a groomer.

I am so proud of you for standing up to them, I have spent forever reading all this, but you did good. I hate being so upset by anything, but I do believe in boycotting stores who do wrong. I will be sharing your story with our PetSmart as well. They might need a little personnel training policy.

Even if you don't want to post pictures of the babies right now, be sure to take some. One day you will want them.

I started grooming mine myself right after they got a weird, sort of a westie-like cut from our vet. I wanted their stomachs short, they cut their back short and left their tummies long.
