| Personally, I like Lola a lot better. She looks exactly like my teapot yorkie Ollie in the face (same longer face, tilted ears) and he's a complete sweetheart and very intelligent/confident, despite his sometimes pensive expression. Lola does look less like a "standard" yorkie though. Ultimately it's your decision. I disagree with people who say you should always wait until 12 weeks to get a puppy though. I got mine at 8 weeks and he's perfectly well-adjusted. I actually think his young age helped him bond to me very quickly. I'm not saying waiting until 12 weeks is detrimental or anything, I just think an 8 week old puppy is old enough to leave its mother. 6 weeks though? No way. My parents got both their Golden pups at 6 weeks and didn't have any problems, but I can see very easily how they might have. I do think it's better to see the breeder's compound, the parents of the pup, and the general conditions the pup was raised in, but it sounds like you've done your homework. Good luck in picking your pup. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Personally I don't think good breeders pose their dogs with things like necklaces and Christmas ornaments, it looks like the photos have been photoshopped, and they may be pictures of just any dog. You need to see the dog in person, and how they have been raised. If you really are concerned with the looks you need to see the parents. Puppies go through all sorts of different stages, and just feeling a little sleepy one day, will get you totally different pictures. Puppies only stay puppies for a short period of time, to know what it will look like full grown, for the next 14 years, look at the parents.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | We'll I think they are both adorable. You can't go by a puppy picture, And I had to see my puppies parents. Who knows the first puppy may be the most loving little thing. They change so much as adults you can't go by the look or the picture. But do what your heart wants. You might go with the really cute one but he's a handful. You never know what you will get....hehe.. I just love em all. |

| I think that both puppies are adorable...Yorkies can look very different depending on the ears and their size. |

| If you're not absolutely in love with Lola and your heart isn't it in, I would go with a pup that you do fall in love with! Its hard to just go by pictures and what info the breeder can give you, but after all it is all you have to go by. Try not to rush yourself into making a decision, these things take time. Heck I've been looking for my next dog since August and haven't found her yet! Whatever dog you do choose, I'm sure you'll love with all your heart! Good luck!!

| Go with your heart. My personal opinion is that dogs with attitudes are excellent! They are fun and exciting... they are stubborn but they are a challenge. Molly and Izze have attitudes and they are so fun! But if you don't like that, and you want a happy-go-lucky pup---that is good. go with YOUR preference. Both are very cute pups.

| I think the new pup looks almost identical to Lola in the first picture. She may look like Lola in the second picture in a few weeks. The fact that the breeder is licensed with the USDA is not a good thing, but you seem ok with that fact. I would really examine the pictures of the parents, but how will you know if they are pictures of the actual parents? Also, most anyone who mentions they got their puppy earlier than 12 weeks (especially shipped), will get some comment about the age. It's just how things are. Many reputable breeders will not ship their pups until 16 weeks, and many more until they reach a certain weight.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | I would highly recommend inquiring what type of health/genetic testing the breeding pair has had and the puppies also.

I would also just browse around the for sale section here. There are many reputable breeders with gorgeous puppies, that way you can compare what well-bred yorkie pup looks like.

| TOUCHE, Its a rough and scary flight for a 16 week can you imagine a 12 week ! I like Lola because she is older and the difference between a 9 week and a 12 week is a huge difference in Yorkies. You already have a bond with her because you named her. Why dont you fly and check out the breeder for yourself. You can even bring her home yourself......I think thats what you need to do to ease you mind......I like Lola..... |

| i understand this must be hard..I could see regrets either way, while I think the second puppy is precious and has more of the yorkie look, I would feel guilty for giving up the pup ive called mine for so long cuz shes not as cute...I couldnt imagine not taking my pup who I have guaranteed a ppup from that litter would be mine from the day she was concieved(weird coincidence, I contacted my breeder the day the mom was tied about purchasing a pup from her!)Its tough, but be careful my breeder wont ship her pups ever, esp that young...good luck with the decision, youve done your homework and thought this thru so I think youll be happy with either pup!
