| Hi I am new here, I hope you will respect my opinion... First I'd like to say my heart would go with the 1st pup, simply because you guaranteed her a home for weeks and weeks, prepared for her and loved her .. You saved a home for her, and they saved her for you... she could have possibley been chosen to go to another family if it weren't for her being saved for you and that makes me sad. She could have had a wonderful family already... Secondly, she may turn out looking like lola when she is Lola's age. I think that she will, she has similar features and looks a lot like her and a lot of pups coming from the same breeder tend to have similar features. So you may be acting to fast, she may turn out to be less cute than Lola you never know... so this I don't think should be your deciding factor... Lastly , I will say that although these are my opinions GO WITH YOUR HEART AND YOUR CONSCIENCE or you will NEVER be able to live with the decision you make. You will always wonder ... and I think it is reasonable to say that you are having an inner conflict going on or this question wouldn't be being asked. Thanks for listening , whichever pup you decide to go with I am sure you will give it a great home and love it no matter what! |

| You should go with your heart when choosing which dog you want to adopt. Everybody has an opinion on which dog you should adopt. Just like how everybody is trying to pick which dog Obama should adopt. I think adopting a dog is a personal choice, because you are the one that has to take care of the dog. You have to pick a dog that matches with your lifestyle. I think everybody offered good suggestions, but you have to make the decision on which dog to adopt. I am sure that you will pick the right dog. I cannot wait to see you new dog on Yorkie Talk. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | EXACTLY what I was thinking. I kind of think they may look quite the same, in the end. But you have to go with your heart. Or, with your gut...if something isn't feeling right...

| Dont Understand I do see some silmilarity but not much. Their faces are different, their ears, their coats, their noses.....all different. Also, so many people have gotten dogs shipped at 10, 11 and 12 weeks. This is the first that I am hearing about 16. Some co-workers of mine got their dogs shipped from a breeder at 10 weeks and they said their dogs are fine. I know a few people on YT that said that they got or are getting their dogs less than 12 weeks (the dogs are being shipped). That was a cute puppy that was posted but I couldnt afford $2200. I have spoken to my breeder and with all my research I know she hasnt cheated me out of anything and the photos are real. I completely trust her and appreciate her honesty. She also knows I am an attorney (for a major firm her in NYC) and I did not send her money through the mail. If God forbid something was wrong, I would be heartbroken, but payment would stop and their would be massive repercussions. As for the name, Lola---I didnt name her. I actually do like that name for a puppy so I might keep it for whichever dog I do choose---if it fits the dog. Thanks for all your opinions!! |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Just for clarification...without breeding rights the puppy I posted is $1400...not $2200.

| AWWW!!! I love the picture of the 3rd, new puppy! I think that if you like the new puppy the best you should get that one because even though they are all cute you want to love them forever and not feel bad about not getting the one you truly wanted. and yes, especially yorkies, they will change there appearance over time, but im sure they will look just as adorable and even if they chaged (which they all do) dramaticaly you will have been with them so long that it wont matter beacuse you will get attached and love your pup. I hope you chose the one you like the most not just beacuse you feel bad since it will come back and will make you have regrets. good luck with the new pup!!!!

| I have had one of my dogs shipped to me. It went fine---BUT I wouldn't do it again if there were no other alternative. I think that the process is very stressful for the pup---and the potential of the pup getting lost is scary. Also, like someone mentioned---if the breeder is USDA licensed---I don't think that is a good sign...isn't it a sign of a puppymill? I could be wrong, but I think that I heard that somewhere. Puppymills are prevelent in MO. You may not want to spend the money on a quality breeder (typically a pet yorkie goes for about $1200 i think)---but that money can save you on medical cost and heartbreak. puppymillrescue Home Page has some info on puppymills. I think that everyone here has offered you sound advice and I hope that you will be open minded and consider it. They only want what is best for you.

ALL of Missouri is NOT filled with Puppymills!! I lived there most of my life and bought BOTH of my puppies from Missouri! And neither were from puppy mills!!! And FYI Puppy mills can be found EVERYWHERE!!! So I take exception to your statement! Most likely you were told that info...and do NOT know first hand!! To the indescisive Poster...Go with the puppy that you want!!! The second puppy is very cute...and no doubt you're just feeling guilty for changing your mind and wanting the second one! But this is not a time to settle..like others have said!

I agree. As this new puppy gets older, it will look less puppyish. I dont think the puppy looks like it has an attitude, some dogs just dont like getting their picture taken | |
