BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | ![]() We have a routine with Lillie, she comes in and lays with me while I watch TV or read before bed and then I say, "time for ni-nite" and she knows she goes to her own bed in her ex-pen. Sometimes I feel bad and want her to sleep with me, but I know she is much safer in her own "room" |

| ![]() Widget has her blankey she loves and at 8PM every nite we place it on the couch for her to jump up on and lie down, she loves her head covered up and she sleeps there all nite....I do get up early....4:30 or so and take her out first thing....then feed her and she's usually back on the couch.....My husband is a big man, and with a queen size bed, we might just squish her...... ![]() |

| ![]() Hannah sleeps in a crate next to our bed. It has her bed and a potty pad in it. It wouldn't be safe for her to sleep in the bed with us and we wouldn't get much sleep either. I notice that when I sleep with Hannah that my allergies act up. Also I am afraid that my husband will roll over on her or kick her off the bed, and my bed is so high that if she tried to jump off or fell off she would get hurt. Here is a pic of her bed. |

| ![]() Brutus never slept with us. When he was younger at night I would put him in the laundry room with his bed and essentials and put up a baby gate. Now that he's 2 he gets full run of the 1st floor. I put gates up by the stairs so he can't come up. I also make his bed (the couch) with his favorite blanket and sleeps all night. I think! LOL!!

| ![]() My first furbaby Tiger slept with us since 10 weeks old up to a few months after I got Annika. He has always been a good boy and never soiled our beddding but he does NOT sleep straight and since he was my only one at the time I did not mind NOT getting enough sleep. But when Annika arrived, he became even more playful and does not want to go to sleep with Annika arround so I moved him to the laundry room where they both stay during the day. I always give tons of kisses when I put him to bed and I always say "nighty nighty" and so he knows to go inside his crate. Even when I need to get something in the room and turn on the lights, he won't come out and seems to enjoy his space inside the crate. So I know he is fine being alone. |

| ![]() I am going through a divorce and since I moved out (about 5 months) all of my babies do sleep with me. I have a king size bed and the boys sleep away from me. One on the other side pillow and the other at the foot. My girls have to be right up next to me.

| ![]() If he is doing things at night that require crate training for his own safety then thats what you have to do, its best for everyone. Maybe later when the problem is corrected he can sleep w/you again. W/rescue I have had up to 5 dogs in my bed, we upgraded to a king bed so everyone can fit. But have also had some dogs that are destructive when unattended & had to be crated, not locked in a smaller room (bathroom)to tear everything up in there which doesnt help the problem. Crating & a strict feeding schedule can also help w/potty issues. Not sure what your issue is but you are doing the right thing for the long run, it will be a rough week or two but it will get easier. Good Luck. |

| ![]() Mayzie slept with us for her first year. She has always slept all night-never had to get up with her and then she quit using her pee pad in our bathroom and began using my son's room instead ![]()

| ![]() Mine doesn't! He never has... The kitchen floor is tiled, so it was pretty obvious where he'd spend the night once we got him (in his xpen - crate training didn't work out with him ![]() ![]()

| ![]() I can't imagine NOT sleeping with my babies. I tried it once or twice and I missed them so much and they were THRILLED when I brought them upstairs the next night. They, like most Yorkies, don't like to be alone - especially sleeping at night. Gee, that's the only time they're quiet and I want to enjoy that!! ![]() |

| ![]() hi! Taki sleeps under the bed in his bed. We tried the crate in the room, an hour of crying. Then to the kitchen, even worse. We have upstairs neighbors, so we had to let him out, but he's not allowed on the bed. I think it's best for my bf and I, and for the dog. Good luck! Try it on a weekend when you can lose sleep and be ok. |

| ![]() For the first week Tia slept in our room in her crate (door open). Then I bought an x-pen. She sleeps there now and the only nights she'll put up a fuss is when I don't exercise her or have her doze on my lap before bedtime. 99% of the time she's ok with it. She was also pretty much crate trained in 1 weekend when she came with us to visit my in-laws in another city....but at home she's in an expen, because she's still too young and needs to have a place to go potty. oh, and we leave a night light on for her. |
