Mayzie slept with us for her first year. She has always slept all night-never had to get up with her and then she quit using her pee pad in our bathroom and began using my son's room instead
--Not going to happen! So several months ago, I put her in the mudroom with Mo and never heard a peep out of her. Now when I am ready to go to bed, I just say, "It's time for a cookie" and they both go to their room and I put the gate up. Not a peep until they hear my alarm at 7 am and at that it is just a short "alert" bark from both of them and they are quiet until they are let out. I sleep soooooo much better now. We don't let the dogs upstairs at all now.
