Mine doesn't! He never has... The kitchen floor is tiled, so it was pretty obvious where he'd spend the night once we got him (in his xpen - crate training didn't work out with him
). Once he earned some trust, we removed the xpen but he loooooves his bed in the kitchen. Unfortunately, recently we had to go back to gating him off in the kitchen because he's started to wake up at 5 am and sit next to bed and whine for attention
(he's too small to be able to jump on it). He never minded sleeping in the kitchen though
