Now, I know it sounded like I was talking about putting her down, But I wasn't.. I would have said so if that is what I meant. I thought I had added the part about medication, I meant to..Again, I am sorry about that. I do not know HOW I can confine her, I have tried. This dog can jump 4 feet to the back of my couch!! She can climb just about anything as well.. x-pen wont hold her, crate holds her but she will bark for hours and never stop, and dig at the door of the crate like mad.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Good luck with rescue and I hope someone here can help this time - she's bounced around and it sure does seem she has issues - maybe a home with a single woman would be the right fit for her ? Whatever happens I hope you find somewhere that will take her - I believe most all dogs will come around in the right place |

It was recommended to me by a trainer I talked to at bark busters to put a cage style muzzle on her but I have not been able to find one anywhere here that would fit. And most muzzles pet stores carry are the cloth one and I was told not to get her that kind.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | Wire Basket Dog Muzzle - Leather - Plastic Basket Dog Muzzles at Dogmuzzle.com i've always used the plastic ones. the smallest one should be fine for her size. I hope you and Jodi are able to work something out so she can go to rescue and be better managed.

You say she has limits, yet your original post does not indicate that. Please let us help you put her in a rescue! This has gone on long enough.

You know as well as I do people do not tell every little detail when posting, especially the first post because it is usually in the midst of frustration. And sometimes we just don't know what else to say until asked. I will be more then happy to hear what you say but please stop with the digs Linda, you did this to me last time and I just do not want to hear it. And I mean the comment about how this has gone on long enough.. Yes ma'am, I know that, that is why I am here posting! But I have tried and tried, done everything I could for Mindy and I deserve some respect for that, not berating. I have replied to Jodi and I will get the info on the rescue from her as soon as she pops on..

Karla, you take everything personal! This is not about you, it is about Mindy! I said don't assume...and that is what I meant because you have run into so many road blocks with her. I just think you have not found the right people yet....so I was advising you not to assume no one can/will help Mindy. I did not say that you assume...just said not to do so. In other words: don't give up! I really hope the rescue Jodi found is the answer! I cannot tell you how many times I have wished I could help Mindy myself, but I have two problem children pupsters right now and it would only complicate things for them and for her. As for saying it has gone on long enough...it is a fact that even you admit. That is not being disrespectful at ALL...it is merely stating a fact. A solution needs to be found! That's all....that is not a fault on anyone's part. No one said anything awful about you, Karla. People have said it was good of you to try with her...again, it is about her, not you. Not placing blame, but looking for a solution before it IS too late for her.

| I got your PM and am waiting for your contact information to forward on to the rescue. If this one does not work out I have a second option.

| I'm sorry, I didn't have time to read all the responses, but here are my thoughts. You do not want to have your homeowners pay for the er visit, your premiums will go up as you know and it will be expensive. I work for a hospital and for people with no insurance, they usually offer a 50% discount. I recommend finding out if they will give you a discount and paying out of your pocket, much cheaper in the long run. Also, I think if you hand your dog over to whatever rescue is being offered here, she cant at that point be taken and put to sleep.

| Didn't you say that your dogs are not given rabies vaccines?

I just want the best for her, if that means rescue I have no problem with that. I just am afraid of being blamed. Yes this is about Mindy, she is first in all of this. but I grew up being blamed for EVERYTHING whether I did it or not, most of the time not.. I was bullied by kids and adults and stuffed in foster care at the age of 13 after going back and forth living with one parent and then the other.. So those things effect how I see things sometimes. And at 48 I would hope those things in my past didn't effect me now, but they do. I am not trying to make anyone feel sorry for me, I only tell you this so you can have an Idea of my own mindset.

Don't worry, there is a place for Mindy. No one is going to blame you...some dogs are a challenge. It is all in finding out what works for each one!
