However, let me just say this:

I do not think you are horrible for sharing your experience. I just want to be sure that all sides are represented.

It takes years to build up a good reputation and only moments to tear one down.

As a repeated, and yes, satisfied customer, I have to speak for her.

Also...I have a friend who owns a huge, extremely, high-end internet retail business. She gets customers all the time wanting to return this or that for whatever reason. But, she requires that they adhere to the return policy.

From time to time people try to report her, whatever. BUT, her policy is clearly stated on her website.

If Rena's policy is return for like item, and it's posted, then I do think it's unfair to claim she doesn't stand behind her products when you weren't willing to stick to the return policy.

Businesses can't just change the rules because someone complains.
You do have a point about return policy, but if items were damaged, why wouldn't a seller want to give a refund? I wouldn't want what I thought to be "crappy" goods again. You know? NOT that they are crappy, just making a point.

I'm sorry it had to come to this, as I dont like to be the one to tell people about poor quality. You should have stood behind your products better. If only 1 product fell apart I would have been more then glad to exchange them, but not when all 3 of them fell apart. I'm sorry but you should make better quality products or be willing to give refunds once in awhile.
I will only say that in order to get a refund or exchange you have to return the product.. that is how it is "Everywhere" .. walmart, sears. Kmart, Jcpennnys ...... That sounds fair.. no return of product, no return of funds or replacement.

I'm REALLY surprised at this...Rena has been in business as long as I've been online...she was one of the 1st vendors I heard about when I got Chanel and this is the 1st time I've seen something negative. I don't order alot but am always looking and reading - One thing I've always noticed about Rena's clothes is she's stayed affordable AND she has excellent customer service. I really hope you can work this out because she does have a great reputation ...and it's one she earned.

I know that you're dissapointed with the diapers you received, but it does clearly state on the main page of her website that if a product is defective it will be exchanged for the same exact product. Possibly it could have been a sewing error or something of the like that could have been corrected with a new pair being made.

Again, I do understand your frustration and I hope that there can be some resolve.
I never even saw her website.....She was referred by a friend and I only emailed her to make me some diapers..I only felt uncomfortable sending them back becasue mt female bleed in then. After discussing things with her I was willing to send them back for a refund. She wasnt willing to give me a refund. Look I am a more then fair woman and Im not wanting to start trouble..I just want to let people know of my bad experience and thats all.
I cant believe anyone would not want to be informed of poor quality , or someone not standing behind their products. There was a post her awhile back in which someone was saying how they wondered if things got burried under the carpet so to speak of about bad products...Yet here I am letting ppl know and Im the one getting flack over having my opinion.

All we can say is we did offer to replace or refund but was told the items where tossed away. Giving us no options,

We refuse to argue. But can say we have been in business since 1984 and we have always stood by are reputation. if we didnt we wouldnt still be here.

Debbie, you were treated with every effort to resolve the issue. And we regret you feeling this way. We cannot refund an item that your not will to return. I will not argue with you nor further this.

Again I am very sorry everyone has been pulled into this issue.
Cannot express this enough.

Rena
Don't be embarrassed. We can't see you.

Your refund policy is clearly stated on your site. Product was not returned.

I think I'll go to kohl's tomorrow and tell them I'd like a refund on the shoes that caused blisters that I threw away last week. Stop apologizing for bringing us into this. YOU didn't bring us into this.

Honey, you're not getting flack. I hope you don't think I was giving you any, b/c trust me, I wasn't. I know how it is to go against a "trusted" YT seller. And I know people want to know about shotty products, but expect the satisfied people to chime in too. But, you can understand when each of you is telling a different refund story.

I really hope this gets rectified for the both of you. Good luck!

Yes, but you would have to return to damaged items, regardless.

Oh I totally expect people to have both good and bad opinions about her products...I wouldnt expect anything less. I gave my opinion so people had a complete review of her products! I realize that I will get the good, the bad and the ugly, lol. I knew before I posted this that I would probably even have some people get angry with me. I am just upset that even after my willingness to return the defective items, she would not be willing to provide a refund.

OP, please don't take my comments personally, I just feel I need to speak for her. Different thread, different day, this will be the furthest thing from my mind.

Certainly, you should return defective products and even tell us about them here. I even understand your desire for a refund. But, if that's not store policy, that's the way it is. All retail establishments operate that way.

I threw them in the garbage and when she said she wanted them back I dug them out of the outside garbage can. I was willing to launder then and send them back , but she wasnt willing to give me a refund. I feel I was willing to do this properly, but what im not willing to do is receive products replaced since not 1 but all 3 of these diapers fell apart.

Default This is silliness, here is the return policy directly off her site:

Returns

Because we do make the items as order is placed. We do not accept returns on items, Unless item is defective. At which time we will exchange for exact item. If you have ordered the wrong size contact us, We may be able to alter the item

Absolutely. That's what I stated above. But these two stories don't match. (insert "dunno" smilie here)

As that is posted on her site, how can you say she doesn't stand behind by not offering a refund???

She offered to stick to her policy. That didn't suit. period.
