ssmiles1980A.....when i read your most recent post i started crying so hard. i just wanted to say i am soo sorry again, and if there is anything i can do to help please let me know. i know for sure little ella is in heaven and she is soo happy. she is no longer in pain, and she is going to forever be an angel watching over you and your boyfriend. i know it is hard right now, but i am sure she forgives you for what happened, actually i doubt she ever even needed to forgive you. i know she was so grateful for the home you gave her, and all the love she had from you both!!! she was such a lucky girl to have you, one of the luckiest. again, i am sooo sorry, but try to remember that that wonderful baby girl is in heaven watching down on you and smiling!!!

I can't imagine how horrible the accident must be in your memories, or how heartbreaking all the images to follow must be. But NO one is to blame, in any way. This could happen to ANY of us, and that's one reason why our hearts have gone out to you so much.

Grieve, yes, absolutely....but don't feel guilty, and don't let your boyfriend feel guilty. I've seen the pics of him with your dogs, and you can just tell how much love and tenderness he has for them. This must be killing him. Tell him that he's in our thoughts and prayers, too.

I'm so sad to hear about little Ella. May God bless you and your boyfriend with the strength to overcome the pain you are feeling. Accidents happen in the blink of an eye, and no one is to blame. I am so deeply sorry for what you are going through. I have been telling my family the updates all along and they are very sad for your loss also. You are in our prayers.

Oh no, I am so very sorry about your little baby. What an awful story.
I hope that you and your boyfriend hold on to one another and get through this together. Please don't blame him. Injuring these small dogs is a constant worry for all of us. Since I have been on this site, I have read a lot of accidents have happened. BIG HUGS to both of you...

Please don't you or Will feel guilty. These little balls of fur are lightning fast and practically dive under your feet when you're walking, this could have happened to any one of us, at any time. I have stepped on Luna a few times, luckily only lightly and only on her paw, but an inch or two to one side or the other, and I would be the one posting about a tragic accident

It only takes a second for this to happen, please DO NOT beat yourselves up over this. You both loved Ella with all your hearts and got her the best medical care as quickly as possible. You did everything right and this was an accident.

My Jane wanted me to tell you that she's so sorry for what happened to Ella and that she wishes that we could all give you a big fat hug and cry with you. Well, we are crying with you, just not in the same room

Ohh hun... I'm so so sooo sorry... But know she's ok now and free of any pain...

Last year on Jan., 15th I lost my furbaby due a pulmonary tumor... she died in my arms at the hospital... that was the worst day of my life... it will complete 1 year, and I still miss her... (Just wanted to share...)

You know time will easy the pain and sorrow... so, for now, just be close to Will and cuddle on each other...

I am just sick for you and your bf. I cannot imagine how devastating this must be for you except to say that I have kids and I love my puppy like my own child. If anything were to happen to her, I don't know how I'd recover.

But as others have said, time will heal your wound, believe it or not. I've had grief over deaths in my life and I after reading accounts of near death experiences, I can say that they are very comforting when it comes to pets. I am praying that you find comfort and peace and that your grief passes swiftly. Little Ella is romping with her other puppy friends now in heaven and will meet you at the rainbow bridge one day, unaware that any time has passed at all.

Unfortunately, too many of us know how deep the grief you feel is when you lose a precious furbaby....and we know too that you will always love her and cherish the brief time you had her with you. This is all the more tragic as she was so young and all we can do is say how we are so sorry for your loss.

I know that words mean little right now, but I want to express how sorry I am for your tremendous loss.

I was so sad to hear of Ella's passing.

I recall that unreal feeling of trying to accept the loss of my yorkie -- which happened just recently. It is more painful than words can say. Your little Ella was so precious and cute, and I hoped & prayed she would pull through somehow. My thoughts will be with you and your boyfriend as you go through this time of grieving. Sending big comforting hugs your way.

Hang in there and one day you will look back and smile over all your happy memories of Ella.
