| Donating YT 10K Club Member | I'm glad Jack's out of surgery and glad he'll be somewhere where he'll be monitored all night. Sweet dreams Jack....cause I doubt your mom and dad get any sleep.

| I'm so glad to hear his surgery is behind him. Were they able to do it so he doesn't have to have a second surgery? Get well kisses to Jack and prayers for a very speedy recovery! I will be watching for updates.

| Oh my gosh, this is what happens when I am too busy at work and don't get enough time to check up on YT..... Just caught up reading the thread. I'm so glad that his surgery went well. Please continue to keep us posted Mike. He is a little trooper that Jack. I just love the pic of him sitting in your lap waiting to go into surgery. What a little doll. Hugs to you Jack Jack.

![]() Thanks again for the concern everybody. It was a long day. Went to bed last night at 4:30 a.m., woke up at 7, dropped him off at 10:15 and waited all day not knowing when the surgery was going to start. About the time I was getting ready to call and check at 6, the vet called and said he was just starting the procedure. So I picked him up around 8:30 and dropped him off at Pet Emergency for the night. Now I'm at work till 1. ![]() Anyhow, the prognosis is good. Surgery went well, and he won't have to go in there again if everything works the way it's supposed to, which is expected. The danger, he says, is if the sciatic nerve or anus was damaged in the surgery. He doesn't anticipate it and says he would have been screaming in pain when he woke up if the nerve was cut, and he wasn't. So much for the $40 I spent on his recent haircut, though. Half his body is bald. I'll have some pics tomorrow. Took some with the phone, but they're pretty bad.

| I just got to a computer - I am so glad to hear your update! Jack and Co. have been in my thoughts and prayers all day. I know you are busy (or pretending to be busy!) - thanks for keeping us posted. Like the rest of the YT community, I will keep checking in to look for more on litte Jack. By the way - great pic of Jack in your lap earlier. He looks like there is no place in the world he would rather be!

| OMG I just read all this and Jack and your family is in my prayers. I hope everything works out just the way its suppose to. Sounds like Jack is in great form and that is great for a 12 yr old. He has everything in his favor. Sounds like a great surgeon to boot. I hope its less time down than what they expected and he is out running in no time. Can't believe he would be up and walking so soon. But guess that is like humans they want them up and moving. Keep us all posted and know we are all here to support you.

| Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Here's a couple shots of Jack tonight from my phone. So sad, but he's been through this before and knows he'll be better than ever. He's gonna be cold with all that hair shaved off.
