Susie I have been thinking about you and Tink...constantly. Hope you are enjoying your snuggle time with your baby girl...I'm sure she is enjoying her's with you!!! I wish I was able to find another frog for Tink...I will look...the search is on.
Keep up the good work Tink...you need to show your mommy how hard work pays off, therapy can be difficult and trying at times. But in the end...it is so worth it.

Winston sends his never ending love...he'd give up his frog for Tink, in a minute...if he had one. Well, he has one...but it's not like Tink's...his is plastic/rubber, so it's not the same.
Tink, rest when you can...work hard when you must. So you can walk...or maybe run...right back into your mommy's open arms.
Wishing, hoping and praying...thank the good Lord for his healing powers. I just know he loves Tink as much as we do.

Tink's Frog info
 

I've been asked what Tink's frog is like. Well, it's fabric like a towel, but not velour. It's stuffed with poly fiberfill. Green on top and yellow underneath. It does have a squeeker inside. It's about 5 inches long including the legs and about 1-2 inches across.

I found it and several other little stuffed animals in a bin at Target about a year ago. They were in the Pet section - you know how they always have that bin on the bottom with all kinds of toys in it? That time it was all of these little stuffed things. I'm gonna look on-line in a minute and see if I can find anything.

I'll post about our day later.

I'll keep looking. There is one Target in our area that I have been to yet.

I am going to see if I have one. Does the color matter?

Here are some pics I forgot I had of when the beloved frog was still in pretty good shape. It came with eyes which I cut off.

I'm normally a lurker but wanted you to know that you and Tink are in my daily thoughts and prayers. Whenever I get online, first thing I do is check for new updates on Tink.

I have always been touched by how attached Tink is to her little froggy and when you showed a photo of her "well loved" toy and asked for us to be on the lookout for a duplicate replacement, I thought the frog looked a bit familiar.

I have 2 large baskets of doggie toys and decided I'd go dig through them to look and see but I didn't have to go far because when I got out of my chair, the frog was laying on the floor, 18 inches behind me! Odd, I haven't seen this toy in a while and today my dogs decide to pull it out of the bottom of the basket???? :angelhalo

I know Tink would probably rather have a new toy but if she wouldn't mind a freshly washed frog, who's seams are in like new condition, with it's squeaker still working and his only problem is he's missing an eye ... my pups and I would love to send you this frog until you can find a brand new one?

If my froggy looks like the one Tink loves so much, please PM me your address and we'd be honored to send him to you and Tink next week.

How sweet of you to offer your frog to Tink. I know he's gently been played with-that only means he has more love to give :) I'm sure she and her mommy will really appreciate it-it will bring Tink so much comfort :)

Oh, God bless you, Sue!! When we were shopping today, I looked and looked for one and couldn't find it. My Toto would rather have one that has someone's scent on it. :) God does love you and Tink too. :p

Hi everyone. I didn't post more about Tink's morning with me yesterday. The frog kind of took over there.:D I'm so happy to have that problem taken care of. Thank you God and thank you Sue!

My morning with Tink was uneventful. She pretty much slept the whole time I had her. I played with her for awhile after she first got here. Moved her little arms and legs and tried to walk her in her sling. She does try to move her front legs but the back ones just hang there. When I'm exercizing them tho I can feel there is a little resistance, so that gives me hope that one day they will work.

I got her into her little frog nightie and took some pics but they are so dark you can't really see her. I should have put more lamps on but of course I thot the flash would be enough. When I tried to size them all I could see was the nightie and no Tink. Maybe next time I'll get better pics. She pretty much looks just like herself except she's not running and jumping all over the apartment.;)

No Tink today though. I had to take a hiatus, I've still got so many things to do before Tuesday. I feel badly, but it's the way things have to be.

Thanks for the candles lit for her. I love looking at them. I've gone through a box of tissues reading them. Thanks for the cards and the graphics left on my profile page. I really do appreciate every one of them. Today at church I thanked God for all my YT friends and for helping my little pal to improve so much. I'm expecting more great things.

Hi Susie...just checking in for an update on little Tink! I'm so happy to see that she has a new frog on the way. I've looked for one when I've been out and about and also online, but had no luck finding that particular one.

I've just gotten in for the afternoon and read the last couple days of this thread. I am new to Yorkietalk as I have just gotten Lola about one month ago. I have already posted and have received several responses to my posts and appreciate the advice I have so far received! Anyway, as I was reading this, I looked over to see my Lola playing with her little green and yellow frog! She has so many toys, and although I know someone has offered to send theirs, we are also more than happy to send this one "just in case". Please let me know if you would like me to get this one to you - it is the one from Target in your pictures. My prayers are with Tink!
