Hi all! I'm sorry to be posting so late. I had an enormous amount of work to get done today before I left. I finally got out of the building at 8:30! And I still had to go to Hallmark and get an anniersary card for my daughter.

Her first anniversary if 19 May. I'll still be in rehab, so I need that card! I should have thought of it before - but I didn't - naughty Mama!

Tink was in rare form today.:) She held her head up most of the time I was visiting today and sat up several times for about 5 or so minutes each time. She is eating with gusto and actually pushes your hand away with her nose when she is finished! Barb said she started doing the pushing thing yesterday but she didn't tell me because I would have felt badly that I missed it. And she's right, I would have. I missed the internist when he was there so I don't know what her lab levels were. Barb didn't have a copy but said she'd find out and let me know.

Tink looked great and she was perfectly happy to lay on my chest in the recliner for about 20 minutes while I was there. I just loved every single minutes with her today. I told her lots of personal secrets and some little frog stores, and love stories about Bernie, Winston, Uncle Charlie, and even Toby. She listened without interruption.;)

So, I had a great day with her. It made me feel that God was smiking on us and gave us this wonderful day together to tide me over 'til I can see Tink again.:)

it is so great that little Tink is getting better.... I am so hopeful that she continues to improve.... Bless You and your baby girl during this trying time.... we will be praying for your speedy recovery!

I am glad she is doing better, you will be in my thoughts tomorrow, I wish you a tink a speedy recovery.

I am so glad you got to spend time with your baby before your big day tomorrow. It sounds like she knew you needed a positive touch today and was able to give it.
I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow.
We will be waiting anxiously to hear your stories about your recovery and Tink's. I do hope you will be in contact with someone that can keep us updated on both of you.

What a wonderful time with Tink, and now you will be able to carry the positive thoughts with you tomorrow. Charlie wanted to say "thank you for being such a good Momma to Tink". He thinks Tink is such a special girl, a little lady and has the most beautiful, black, shiny hair.

I'm so tired, I really want to go to sleep but I still have things to do. I'm all packed except for my last minute things for the morning.

And don't worry about the frogs. The young lady who is staying in the apartment for me will get the mail and let me know when they come. I'll tell her how to get some Tink smell on them and get one to Barb. That reminds me I forgot to check my mail today. I'll get it in the morning, I'm to tired to go all the way back out there tonight.

Keep praying for my Tinkerbelle while I'm gone. I don't know quite when I'll have access to a computer again. Don't forget me!:eek:;) I'll really miss you all.

I just got off the phone with Susie and she sounded GREAT! The surgery went well and she has already been out of bed. She will be going to a the rehab center in a couple of days. I was amazed at how well she sounded and it was "WONDERFUL" to hear her voice.......she is an amazing person and friend!!! I hope to talk with her again before she leaves to go to rehab to update everyone! THANKS FOR ALL THE PRAYERS ON HER BEHALF!

Thanks for the update Carol. I had to work today and wasn't able to get here till now. But, I always check this thread when I am here!!!!!! Glad to hear Susie's surgery went well. She has some walking work to do now, too!!!! Sending tons of healing energy to Susie and Tink along with virtual hugs!!!!!!!

Thanks for the update. Subscribe to this thread so I can keep up with what is going on with Tink and Susie. Had Susie's name on the back of my hand today so I would remember to say prayers for her. Glad she's getting on her feet so quickly.

In reading a lot of your comments, Susie, you're strong and I know you'll be up and about in no time, and I'm sure Tink is right behind you. Praying that you both have a speedy recovery. :hands:
