Had to stop by and see if there was news on Susie and Tink. Thanks Carol...for letting us know that Susie's surgery went well...now for the healing process.
I continue to pray for Tink as well...may she show great improvement by the time Susie sees her again. I want Susie to be amazed!!! I know they both have plenty of therapy ahead of them...they can rely on each other to work hard, so that they can just be home and together forever.

Hoping that it's soon that Susie herself is on here updating - for many reasons :) -- including a little green & yellow reason that I found at Target last night :D -- it just hopped out of its bin right into my hands, and said send me to Tink! :p

I know its so very hard to watch your furbaby be sick, i will say a prayer for you and her, and have faith that she will come though this and be fine...

Tink WILL be ok.

I am so pleased to see that Susie came through her surgery so well. Hopefully, soon, we will see news that both her and her precious Tink are reunited and on the road to a healthy recovery.:hands::hands::hands:

I got a text from Susie last night after I was already in bed.
She is having a Bad time.

Here is what it said.
"Having a tough time.Nerves in hands hurting. Knee doing very Ill. Call Tomorrow"

Prayers going up for Susie. May the pain subside and healing begin. Dear Lord, place your healing hands upon Susie.

Yippee, another frog or two for Tink! Susie as well as Tink will have some rather rough days ahead of them...this is all too normal unfortunately. But we will continue to pray that the good days will out number the not so good days...until there is only ALL good days for them both. Wish there were some news on Tink...I pray she's showing massive improvement...day by day. More prayers for these two from Winston and I. We have been praying our hearts out...God will hear us...and will respond with HOPE...FAITH...and HEALING. Amen!

Hey everyone I called the hospital today and They said Susie was discharged this AM. I have not been able to reach her on her cell.
I wish I knew the rehab center she is in :(

Hi all. I think I mistyped when I sent Lori the text message. I'm doing quite well. My leg hurts like crazy, but that's OK, the surgery went well and I just have to learn to use the walker all over again. There is some damage to the nerves in my wrist/hand from using the walker recently. We're working on that now. We've had some trouble getting my meds regulated which makes it tough when the pain comes. But we'll get it figured out soon.

I couldn't answer text messages today because my cell phone battery is dying and the young gal who is staring at my apartment didn't bring my things top the nursing home today so I could plug in the charger. Fortunately, there is a PC here for public use So here I am.

Thank you all for your concern for us. Tink came to hospital yesterday to see me. I sent to the big waiting room downstairs and got to hold her. She was beside herself! Trying so hard to get to me. Her little front legs are working very well. The back legs are still motionless but she was wiggling like a little puppy! I just loved seeing her.

I can't stay here too long - have to share you know;) Hopefully I'll talk to all of you soon. Thank you for all of your prayers.

I'm so glad your text message was a typo and you are doing well!!!! Pin is definitely to be expected, but bummer about your hand/wrist. I hope the therapist gets that one figured out for you. So glad Tink got to come and see you and YAY her front legs are working. Give her time, the back legs will figure it out and if not, well then I'm sure there will be a special cart available somewhere.
