| A friend told me about a site she uses to keep track of what she eats, exercise, etc I signed up there today. http://caloriecount.about.com I been doing very well today had kashi cereal for breakfast, banana chips for snack, kashi frozen southwest chicken for lunch, kashi tlc ranch crackers for snack. Will have another kashi meal in a bit for dinner and then one more snack tonight. I am having a very bad weekend with how I am feeling, so I am thankful for these frozen dinners.

| I want to weigh in too. I have no idea how much I need to lose - it's been ages since I've been on the scale - don't even know if mine is accurate. I'm guessing I need to lose somewhere btwn 5-10 pounds. Definitely I need to firm up. I need to get on an excerise plan big time! I used to do Callanetics - a bit like palates (sp) - - small muscle movements designed by Callan Pickney. I was so slim & tight when I did these all the time. I also have the palates dvds I should be watching. I even bought a Bean off an infomercial several months ago - but it's still sitting in the box - unopened. I need some good motivation. I have an old boyfriend flying halfway across the country just to take me to dinner for my birthday in a couple of weeks - you would think that would have been motivation enough, but I've been busy & lazy when I'm not busy - that counts being on yt - lol I probably fall in that group of not eating enough, a lot of time. I love Special K with strawberries. Lots of fruit. I try to drink a glass of milk every day - but I know I should drink more. And I could improve my water intake - its good, but could be better. I probably need more protein, so I am not so tired, therefore kind of lazy. Exercise - any good motivational tips??

| I just have to tell you all, I cheated a little today! I had dinner from a Taco Place (a burrito and some chips with cheese dip) and a diet soda. I did manage my portions, by not getting the burrito meal.. but I have to tell you guys.. it was NOT SATISFYING AT ALL. I felt miserable and sick after and it was so not worth it. I'm doing extra workouts tomorrow and drinking extra water to attempt to get the sodium out of my system and I'm hoping it doesn't affect my weight loss too much. Just wanted to admit that to you all.. but I'm not down on myself.. it was a slip up, but a portioned out slip up that I won't be repeating |

| Hi girls, I did not exercise today. Our family went to pick up Gucci. The lady (Debbie) is so nice. She even went in the front yard to say good-bye to Gucci. She was so helpful. Gucci has not taken a pee or anything. She did get pretty car sick though. I tried to post pic's, but I had a hard time. I will have to try again. Tomorrow I will get back on track with some exercise! |

| Therapy Dog Donating Member | Yay - I finally broke my plateau that I've been on for just over a month. I was steadily losing 1 pound a week since January and around 8/6 just stopped. I haven't gained anything but not losing but maybe a half pound these entire 6 weeks, but I never strayed off my plan - still eating right and exercising at least 4x week. I weigh myself every Saturday morning first thing and yesterday I lost 2 whole pounds..yay! Yes -it was so frustrating doing everything right and still not losing but I kept right on. So - don't stop or give up if you cheat or hit a plateau - keep going - it finally comes off. My nutrionist told me that I was doing everything right but my body had to play "catch up" with my new weight and get used to it and stabalize. It finally did and hopefully now I can get these last 8 pounds off. Keep it up everyone - have a great day.

| Before August 2006 I wanted to drop at least 20-30 lbs for my sister's wedding... Well, feeling like I had tried every diet and diet pill known to man, I didn't know where to begin........ I finally decided to go to the doctor for help.... I was literally depressed over my weight I told the doctor...... I had to do something.... Well in January 2006 he put me on a diet pill called Fastin (generic is phentermine)........ In August 2006 I had lost 45 lbs! I felt so good! The weight just flew off.......... I have to say I am now a true believer in Fastin... It doesn't give you that nervous energy, but it gives you that get up and go! It totally curves your appetite too... I didn't want anything to eat.... I literally had to make myself eat....... I had absolutley no side effects! I am a sole believer...... As of today I have not gained a pound back....... I am down almost 60 lbs from what I was in January 2006.... I suggest this pill to anyone who has a large amount of weight they want to lose.... Thanks to all the stories and help on here! Its a day to day struggle to keep it off! Its not something you just lose and it not come back... You got to work at it every single day! |

| I managed to do pretty well with the diet yesterday...I'll try to do the same today. But I'll have a hard time walking for exercise as I think I broke my toe yesterday...darn it...it's all black and blue and very swollen, hurts like heck to walk and I can't bend it. So I may very well have a lazy day today...

| I think this joke would be fitting to post in this thread..... HELP FIND LARRYSubject: Larry Is Missing!!!!! Larry was in trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary. His wife was really angry. She told him "Tomorrow morning, I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in less than 6 seconds" - "AND IT BETTER BE THERE!!" The next morning Larry got up early and left for work. When his wife woke up, she looked out the window and sure enough there was a box gift -wrapped in the middle of the driveway. Confused, the wife put on her robe and ran out to the driveway, brought the box back in the house. She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale. Larry has been missing since Friday. |

| I want to get in on this too. I need to lose about 15 pounds. I've read through this whole thread and you guys have a lot of good pointers. I use a lot of Splenda. Now I'm scared of it! I don't think I can quit it cold turkey though. My mom went to an Iridologist who told her not to use any artificial sweeteners at all. |
