Are y'all watching this circus on TV? You must be, because you know all the details! What channel is it on??? I only see this Jodi nut on the 5pm news and she makes me absolutely crazy with her smugness....but I want to try to watch the proceedings if I have it on ATT U-Verse....I am reading this thread and it is like reading anovel!! Y'all are doing a great job! Keep it up! If I cant stomach watching it, I can enjoy it thru this thread!

Wow!! The impeachment thing sounds complicated.... I have never heard of such.... I'm so afraid the defense is pulling out ALL stops for a mistrial...? It's only tax paper money to them I guess??!!

I heard that in any case, even if Jodi is found guilty of first degree murder that it will be 20-25 years before the case is closed/ she's put to death....? Geez Loise..... I'm sorry to be cheap.... But Jodi is a bad seed, and I don't feel generous about paying tax paper money to keep her in jail.
I am saddest about poor Travis being assassinated all over again.... And no one but Juan, can try to defend him.....
A random question/thought....... If Jodi is so sneaky to break into his emails, bank accounts, etc..... How do we not know she didnt plant/write some of the texts on Travis's phone.... She's so conniving and manipulative and technologically savvy, I wouldn't put it past her to have staged his texts.... He didn't save phone sex or seem aware that she was recording the phone sex ..... I wouldn't put anything past her and I DO believe everything she did was premeditated - I think her journals were staged, everything..... She is the most dangerous of women! Truly wicked!

Yes, Judy, HLN carries it every evening all evening!!! You can't turn over there for headlines as usual because they are covering every detail. During the days when trial is in session, they even carry. I can't hardly watch it very long live as before you know it it gets so graphic and yuck you are blushing and uncomfortable in your own den! But once trial is over, then they immediately start the rehash and some of the earlier evening HLN shows might leave a little bit to the imagination and skip some of the worst of it but later on, they cover ever gory detail again so watch with your finger on the Mute button!
Also, if you put "Jodi Arias trial" in the search in Twitter, you can pretty much keep up that way as people read news about the trial or TV. And they will link you to stories and evidence published that finds its way online. They also link you to the stations live streaming court itself so you can watch it live from the internet. It's everywhere and we're all sick of it but still want to get the latest! Always looking for the latest tidbit that might make one feel more like this murderer won't get off scott free!

On weekends, HLN does other programming afternoons and evenings but M-F afternoon/evenings, it is just all about Arias, the same way it was with Casey Anthony. It gets old quick so it doesn't take much watching to catch up.

Update on the impeachment proceedings. The impeachment could have occured in cross that's why Juan asked specific questions. There won't be a hearing on impeachment, but this could result in a perjury charge for Alyce. A perjury charge would mean all her testomony would be thrown out.


The actual number of men who she testified on behalf in a criminal trial was zero, and she said one or two, then tried to say she wrote a paper for one. That's a big and stupid lie, I know she'd know the answer to that, but she tried to mislead the jury in a serious way.

I may have to impeach my own posts! Now, I'm not sure if the actual number is one or zero. So if she said 1 or 2 and it was 1, that really wouldn't be a lie. I can't seem to find any details and took the word of someone who said zero. In that case, 1 or 2 would not be a lie, just misleading.

I was shocked to hear that testimony by her and that Martinez didn't seem to know for sure either. Maybe he did but you would have thought he would reference at least something about the case in some way if he had it and that she wouldn't have a ready list to present in case questioned as well as to present to potential trial lawyers interested in her. But he didn't seem to press that home like you'd think he would if he had all of the details - he seemed to back off - or maybe the phone rang and I just missed that part. But her response really surprised me - I thought expert witnesses could whip out all of the full details of every case they worked from an encoded jump drive on their keychain or in their phone! At least have a ready list somewhere within reach in case questioned about it.

I was shocked that Martinez didn't seem to have that information about her prior case testimony via Westlaw, LN or one of those services and get more into that. IDK, maybe he did and just didn't refer to particulars in the case due to the case being publicly televised but either I missed it or he just didn't go in for the kill on that.

What's also interesting is that her home was broken in this past Feb and her laptop was stolen. In that laptop was a psychological profile of Jodi Arias.

Brian Foster has been following the Arias trial closely. We asked him, could this burglary hurt the case?

"It could be really a big deal but only time will tell. If the information gets out there in the public domain, or gets in the hands of the defense attorneys earlier… it could really undermine the prosecution's case."

Demarte hasn't been called to testify just yet. She's expected to do so after the defense rests. At Demarte's house, we saw three patrol cars and a couple of detectives on scene, along with a crime scene van. It's an unusual response for a normal home burglary.

Right now detectives are trying to figure out if this was a random burglary or if this had anything to do with the Arias case.

I'm convinced without anything but their improbable stories and the facts of the case Arias murdered with intent but it sure is good to know someone is coming on to clean up any mess they left with that one juror the defense is trying so hard to reach - because it is hard to believe more than one out of twelve people could possibly fall for Arias' story. I'm really interested to hear from Janeen, though leaving a critical file in a huge legal case on a home computer bespeaks a slightly careless side of her.

Oh, man, wouldn't that be something if they could tie that theft to the defense or later found out they had bought an underground copy of that profile? haha. Couldn't agree more! Well, it certainly has been a circus show all the way around with all of the wild media coverage and internet buzz and it's so sad. A young guy died horribly at her hands but you know what they always say, juries are rarely willing to put to death someone they feel they have come to know, let alone a young woman - and on top of that - one crying "domestic abuse". I'm so scared now that she'll get off light. Well, we'll see what the prosecution's expert witness can do. I sure hope she's not so biased in the prosecution's corner that she loses her credibility, too!
