| I was getting the impression from the jury foreman that he and the other jurors voting for life were making their decision based on Travis being a big bad man abusing this poor young thing. The juror(s) seemed to be making their decision based on their moral beliefs rather than looking at the law and seeing if she fell under those guidelines. I think if this was a man accused of doing this to a woman there would not have been an issue. The voice mails where Travis was cussing out Jodi were only on the ones that Travis was confronting Jodi because she had been hacking into his bank accounts, computer and staking him, Dr. Demarte testified to this. She said that is what she saw in viewing them. Apparently the jurors just had a problem voting for death when it came to doing it to a young attractive woman.

| I think the deal should be made...life without the possibility of parole....because I am just not confident they are going to be able to find 12 people that can see this master manipulator for what she is. She has almost half this jury fooled, as she has fooled most of the people she has encountered during her lifetime. If they can get the "without the possibility of parole", added to that "life in prison", they had better take it....or that wench will be out free within the foreseeable future! I just can not imagine why in the world those 4 people could not see the horror and cruelty in the crime she committed. If those people could not find it in their hearts to give her the death penalty after hearing and seeing all the graphic details they saw/heard during the trial, then they are incapable of rendering that option in any circumstance....what could have possibly been worse, to make them go with the death penalty???...one more stab wound? totally decapitating him?? dragging his dead body to the yard and leaving it for 2 weeks?? No, these people just would not have ever found anything that would move them to give the death penalty......and there are others out there just like that. They better go for life without parole or she will be out, doing all "her wonderful, good deeds" for all of us...... |

| Right now Jodi is a very hated woman. I wonder just how many people would fib and say they haven't been watching the trial or they haven't formed any opinion just to get on the new jury so they can send her to death. This is a disaster for the defense, they really need to ask for the deal of life with no parole. None of Jodi's family was in court for the verdict, they most likely didn't want to hear her get the death sentence.

| I don't believe that attention seeking b**** would make a deal for life without parole. I think she is thoroughly enjoying all of this.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I don't think they have to make a deal with her, I think they are concerned about what Travis's family wants. If another jury can't decide the judge decides on life with or without parole. I'm told at least now she's is out of general jail population, so I don't think Jodi very happy now.

Abused my FOOT. The defense had five years to find someone who was abused by Travis and they were unsuccessful. Jodi imho abused HIM.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I agree with you, I actually don't care if she gets the death penalty, I just want her to live hard time in prison, with no chance of parole and no book clubs. I do not think she should be influencing other people at all. The good news is that this particular prison, is cooled by swamp coolers. AZ in summer already is hell, without AC, it's really horrible, and swamp coolers are worthless for a couple of months out of the year. Maybe it will give her a little taste of hell on earth.

| A couple of transcripts have been released pertaining to the side bars. It was amusing when JM used Wilmott as an example to get his point across. JM said: Martinez: "But the thing is that, if Ms Wilmott and I were married, I certainly would say I F'ing want to kill myself. That doesn't mean I'd want to kill myself." This is a article talking about the side bars: http://www.azcentral.com/community/m...nclick_check=1 These are the transcripts: http://www.azcentral.com/ic/pdf/aria...pt-excerpt.pdf http://www.azcentral.com/ic/pdf/aria...pt-excerpt.pdf
