Donating YT 11K Club Member | My waist I am pretty thin the only problem is when i eat most of the fat goes to my waist! Not my hips, not my butt lol but to my lower stomach, waist area and i get those 'love handles'. I hate it!!!! I have been doing crunches everyday! This is my 5th day, i've been eating better but it's still there. I am getting soo frustrated and put plastic around my stomach when i work out to try and sweat more. I hardly sweat and i run a lot! For like an hr. I am slim everywhere else, it bugs me! I wanted to wear a nice fitting dress this weekend for a party but i guess that's out! Any ideas how to get rid of the love handles???

| You can also do back exercises...I have no idea how to explain what I mean but instead of just working out your stomach, you also work out your lower back

| Get some 'SPANX'. There are many, MANY, different kinds you can get.. They can be worn(and ARE worn) by many different shapes and sizes. They can literally take you down a size or two..or they can just be used to smooth out anything thats unwanted in a tighter fitting outfit. just depends what you want. here is the website.. (i know they sell them at Nordstrom, not sure where else..) http://www.spanx.com/pls/enetrixp/!s...40..479040.cat

http://www.spanx.com/pls/enetrixp/!s...040.695101.cat ALOT of it is what you like..(what would you want to wear and how much coverage you need, along with the outfit choice) *If you want strictly tummy coverage.. i would say the "hide & sleek panty'"(and whether you want it for your whole mid-section, or just your lower stomach.. depends on whether you want the high-rise or regular, or the 'hide & sleek girl short'. *if you want tummy and a little bit of thigh coverage too- i would say the "Hide & Sleek Mid-Thigh Smoother" (but if its a short dress, prob. not.. and i think you said before its just ur midsection anyway.) personally, i would think one of the cami type ones is always a good investment also. you can where it under alot of things(even something as simple as another tight tank..just as a light smoother) i dont know.. i know, its confusing-haha. i would just get one that you think you would want(coverage-wise, etc.) and also.. something versatile enough so you can wear it with other things in your wardrobe,if you want?! good luck.

| Girl.....I know exactly what you mean. When I gain weight its from mid-stomach to mid-thigh. I keep complaing about it, but too lazy to actually get rid of it LOL! Try doing the regular crunches, and side sit-ups. If you do try to do the standing leans from side to side with weights in your hands, use light weights or else your obliques could become bigger with the muscle gain.

| Don't they just squeeze the fat and make it pop put where the garment ends? I'd look like a barbell!! LOL!!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I started working out last October at the age of 54, having never done so before. I am naturally thin but with age the love handles and tummy area were making me so out of proportion. I started taking strength and toning classes 3 times a week , which helped but I wasn't seeing the love handles and tummy go down much, so 2 months ago I started doing 3 miles a day on the treadmill at the gym at a fast walk pace and combined with the classes I have gotten rid of my love handles but the tummy is still a bit if a problem.
