And your little paragraph about Rachel carrying her dogs around in carriers and it being so cheezy - you honestly should have just kept your mouth shut about that! Have you ever stopped to think that she LOVES having her babies with her all the time and that's why she carries them around with her? You making fun of those of us that take our dogs everywhere with us proves to me even further that you don't love your dog! You think of her as just a dog - your possession... Rachel is not the one that thinks of her as a possession...you do!

Do the right thing and let Lola stay with someone who truly cares about her and wants her! If you want to make money off of something, do it with something non-living. And buy your son stuffed animals from now on so you don't continue to teach him that live animals can be sold to the highest bidder and then contantly rehomed!

Exactly!! Hang in there Rachel. Although a lot of us have never personaly met you, we get close on this forum talking every day, and there are a lot of folks behind you here.

I have 3 things to say...First of All, a lot of reputable breeders sell on puppyfind..the one I got was posted on here, but also on puppyfind, and the breeder I got her from was fantastic!
2) I don't carry my dogs everywhere, but I can gurantee I love them just as much as the ones that do carry them everywhere..to each his own, I choose not to take my dogs places(I have a lot of them, and the places I usually go don't allow dogs)
3) a lot of you are young, you don't have kids, you don't know what it's like when you have a small child and you give up a dog..I've been in those shoes, it's very hurtful..Now, as I stated before, up until now, we've all heard ONE side of the story..We don't know personally, either one of these people..someone is definitly not being honest..!

I think the point about carrying dogs everywhere was the original owner made fun of Rachel for doing so and her comments made her look silly and petty. I don't take mine everywhere either but I would never fault someone for wanting to. I have a 13 year old so I am qualified to answer #3. Taking that dog back because her 6 yr. old misses her is absolutely ridiculous.
The 6 yr. old will not and can not take care of that dog. The original owner has already made it clear that she can't either so while it is very sad for the child, it is a result of bad decisions on his mother's part and now she will have to deal with the consequences. The dog and Rachel should not have to suffer because this woman is a wishy washy air head.

My son feeds his dog and our cat every day. He walks his dog, lets her out to potty, and even tries his best to brush her.

I'm sorry that your son misses your yorkie, but the dog is your responsibility not his. You are the adult that needs to care for this little dog, which according to what I've heard it doesn't seem you are doing. I would never sell my dog on puppyfind of all places because she was having accidents. You are her owner, YOU should train YOUR dog and you didn't, so then you put Lola up for sale? It doesn't make a lot of sense to sell a dog you love over your inability to train her.

I l-o-v-e my dogs and I take them with me most all places they can go. This doesn't make me silly or foolish or thinking of them as an object -- I take them with me because I care about them, want them to share in experiences, ect.

Your post doesn't even really sound like you want Lola back. It sounds like you just want to bash Rachel, who is trying to give Lola a great home regardless of what damage has been done.

I seriously hope your 6-year old son is not walking a golden retriever unsupervised. What if the dog suddenly takes off? Your son could be dragged into the street and hit by a car. The dog can also easily get away from a 6-year old and run away and also get hit by a car. As well behaved as a dog may be, things can happen. Children and dogs should never be left alone together.

So far as feeding and taking care of an animal, that's great! If he forgets or doesn't want to feed them or take them out to potty, it's your responsibility. You are also financially responsible for these animals. A child is never legally responsibile for a pet - the adult is.

Do not take this dog back only because your son misses her - you already made the choice to sell her - do the right thing and let her stay where she is. You're son will get over it and hopefully you won't make the same mistake in the future

Sounds to me like you're only taking her back because you can...probably so you can sell her for more money later on. You don't care about Lola...I think we can all see that. And you coming onto YT and posting has made that even more apparent. You said Rachel has no class....hmm..well, I don't see her calling someone childish names and making petty remarks

I still haven't seen the issue of why Lola was up for sale for over a year (or was it two years?) before the seller came to the realization she shouldn't have sold her to begin with.

Was this never talked about in the sellers household in all this time ( why wouldn't the son know )?

In all this time was Rachel the only person that she completed the sale with?

Not only do I also have a great job, which I'm currently on medical leave, but I also have extensive rental property, and if my mother is buying me a Yorkie for Christmas as ONE of my presents, doesn't that tell you anything about my family's means?!

Please make sure you know what you're talking about before you start spewing crap.

So with all this money you couldn't take care of Lola's legs. I'm sorry but I really doubt you want Lola back because of your son but it's a good story.(could be wrong) Maria just keep it up with every new post, you keep digging yourself deeper and deeper in a hole.

Do you know how irresponsible it is to allow a 6 year old child to walk a large dog?? Not only could your golden retriever drag your child anywhere, but what if a dog fight broke out?! Your child could be seriously injured!

When Lola had an "exam" by your vet, why didn't he notice her teeth need looked at? My vet has 6 yorkies and please believe he checks my girls over thoroughly.. Did you provide Rachel with proof that this "exam" was done?? Were you going to just let the LP get worse and worse and never provide any medical attention to her? And if you get so much from child support ( ) then why wouldn't you contact a trainer or someone to help out with the housebreaking?? You say you have all this money but you didn't pursue anything to help fix the problem?

You've done nothing but brag about your finances and trying to get whatever point across?? I don't know but I think its very tacky.. And YOU, my dear, don't have class..You saying you have "so much money" and more money than "most us normal people will ever be able to make" makes it very obvious that the ALMIGHT $$$$ (CHA-CHING) is the only thing important.. I too have been watching this thread. I am a yorkie lover of the best kind. I could not imagine getting upset and wanting to sell my dog for doing a pp on a bed...well lmao..that just happened to me twice...I would never even imagine it..the baby got excited and we were traveling and oh well things happen..but to list not once but HOW MANY times..that alone tells me you really did not want the dog..and listing for thos reason..oh my
And yes, your digging a bigger hole every post. I could not imagine my grandson at 6 years old walking my small yorkie let alone a large dog.
I believe many people will agree buying a yorkie as a gift is not the thing to do..Money does not matter...it was obviously not the gift that kept on giving if you have tried to sell this small baby.
I also think it makes you feel good about yourself when you brag about how much money you have. What is money to a dog that is not wanted..NOTHING.
So move on and let this baby have love and not be left to a 6 year old to look after and feed. Shame on you!!!!

If you want to take it as far as court, I'm more than willing. At this point, after all you've written, you could be responsible for more than the dog. After all this bulls**t, I'll even give you the extra money you asked for, for your expensives, and I'll make the drive back to Cincinnati to get her, just give me my dog back! As you have learned, I'm a VERY smart girl, and I'm sure you don't want me to make your life hell.

IS that a threat she is making. Make sure that you print out all of this thread so that you have legal proof if you have any problems.
