Everyone I need your opinions

OMG I just went to my myspace & she & lola are no longer on my friends, what is up with that?

Rachel, so sorry you are going through this. This woman definately has some issues. What is she going to do if you keep Lola, don't giver her anymore money and just stop all communications? She may say she will take this to a lawyer, but honestly, she is wanting more money from you, do you think she would actually go to all of the trouble of getting a lawyer and maybe having to pay one? I say keep Lola and thats that. If you decide you can't handle the thought of her going through those surgeries and maybe losing a leg(which I couldn't either, too heart breaking) try and find her a home on here with someone else. At least she wouldn't be with that money hungry, disturbed woman. I can't even imagine all you are having to handle right now, my thought are with you.

Rachel, this just sounds more and more like the gal in Ohio that I pmed you about. She has such a bad reputation that she gives dogs to relatives and a friend to sell by appointment and the relative gets the dog the day the person comes over to look at it. If it sells she gives them a percentage of the sale. This is why papers are so important.

Sounds like she is breaking contact w/me. Weird. I will take care of the vetting etc, but didnt want this lady to get her money while Lola & I suffer.

When was she planning on giving your money back? Was she going to meet you half way again? I would tell her if she wants her back she will have to come get her with your money, and give her a certain time limit. Did you tell her Lola has problems with her legs and will need surgery so you feel the 1000$ is too much for her considering the vet bills you will have to pay?

yes & now she deleted me so I can not contact her again, which is fine by me. She broke the contract, doesnt have my deposit so i guess thats that.

I am so sorry about all this Rachel It is all so sad.
But if she deleted you them maybe you can just keep lola I think I would do everything I could to not give her back.

I know some will say there are 2 sides to this story and we have only heard yours... well? I think yours is enough. I feel so bad for what you and Lola are going though.

Thank you & I do hope its over. I was offering to settle at $750 because I didnt want to give her back to her but she said she thought she was worth $1000. I told her about the probs & that she could contact the vet if she wanted & the pics she kept posting were over a year old so she is a different color etc, who knows- you couldnt prove the dog I have is the dog she listed. Color, size, age all different. She is nuts. I think she has my address, that makes me nervous, she could come take all 3 Thats it I'm moving.

I hope that you are rid of her. If I were you, I'd have her spayed and her baby teeth pulled. Honestly the more Vet bills you incur 'under your name' I think is better for your side of the case. Also, she broke the contract that she put together. More on your side. As far as LP, what did the Vet say? Was it graded? Both Roxy and TJ have LP. Roxy had surgery and boy oh boy is she a brand new girl! TJ is low grade and no symptoms. We monitor him every 3-4 months and so far the Vet has said his legs actually feel stronger. Walking them is good and supplements as well. Someone else posted about walking on an incline is suppose to be really good (treadmill???)

As far as her having your address. If you have an alarm on the house and even if you don't have one, Get those ADT stickers and signs and plaster them all over your house. You can also buy signs on e-bay, that say "Being Monitored by Internet Video Surveillance" - These are great items to have regardless of this wacko.

I was only letting her go because of my work schedule and her lack of potty training. I get frustrated with her accidents, and have made hasty decisions about posting her for sale.

You also haven't shared why we decided we want her back. My six year old son was at my parent's home on fall break when I decided to let Lola go with Rachel. Since Lola is primarily my dog, and my son has a Golden Retriever, I didn't think he would be too upset. I was wrong. He's asked me every night when Lola's coming home (I told him she may or may not be coming back, that she's on vacation with other Yorkies), and when I asked him what he wanted for Christmas, he said that he wants Lola to come back! And now that I'm not working, I will have plenty of time with her.

That's another HUGE thing you've left out.....why I'm not working! I could pay you right now, but I'd rather not. I'm sorry, but with three trips to the ER at $150 a piece, five doctor visits with my co-pay being $30, and numerous prescriptions in the past month, finances are a bit tight. I've told you the minute I receive my monthly check, the money is yours. You complain about having to care for her, at your expense, until I get her back. I am the one who drove an hour and a half each way, from Indianapolis to Cincinnati, to take her to you, I think that just about covers the cost of feeding her for a few weeks.

I sent you a very nice email, saying that we all miss Lola, and asking how you felt about her coming back to us, I was very considerate of your feelings. You called me the next day, talking about her health problems, and said you didn't mind at all her coming back to us! Then the next day, you call me again, talking about having me write you a statement saying that I void the contract. The first time you called, you were trying to get me to take money off the dog, the second time you called, you were trying to trick me into writing something to could leverage you to be able to keep the dog. I'm a little more intelligent than you honey.

The contract says if at any point Rachel determines that Lola is not adjusting, she will return Lola. All money paid to Maria will be repaid to Rachel within three weeks from the date of termination. That's the only thing it says about three weeks. It also states, if at any point before January 1st, 2008 Maria wants to terminate this contract she will pay Rachel her full deposit at time of termination. Termination babe, is when we exchange Lola and the money. As for the microchipping suggestion, I've printed every page of this thread, so that option is out. If you looked closely at my MySpace page, maybe you noticed that one of my very best friends is an attorney. One of the benefits of that is, of course, free legal help. But truly, I promise you money is of no issue. I would bet my child support alone is more than you earn.

You made some inane remark about me slinging my dog around in her carrier. I told you, I put her in there twice, she got sick, so I never put her in again. You're the one with the lovely fake Vuitton carrier, carting your poor dog around everywhere. A dog is not a status symbol to me. At work, we make fun of girls who cart their doggies around. Soooo cheesy, and such wannabes. A dog doesn't buy you class Rachel. It's just about as classy as your fake bags. You're so 'hood rich' it hurts.

The only reason you want Lola is because of how small and pretty she is. My mom bought Lola for me, for Christmas, and I could care less about her size or her breed really. I bet you haven't told the people on here the reason you are not keeping your male puppy. When I asked you if you were keeping him, you said I don't know, I don't know how big he's going to get. Nice.

Go ahead and spay Lola. I know nothing about breeding, I don't want another dog, and I don't need the money. Hey Genius, when I told you the vet said she was clear to breed, did you ever think maybe I was trying to see what your reaction was?? And no, we will not be selling her. I love my dog, my family loves my dog, and now that I'll be home to work with her, she's definitely not going anywhere. And now that I've seen what type of person you are, I realize I made a huge mistake.

I always stand up for what is right, and I'm not going to allow you to lie about me. You will return my dog, and I will return your money. End of story. I think you know by now to not cross me anymore than you have.
