I was just wondering if any news yet?

What are these kids thinking? Poor bird. My daughter used to cry over
accidentaly stepping on an ant! Really. I taught my children to respect
all animals and they do. Thank heavens your son was there. They are
great pets. I had one for years and Charlie was a love.
Prayer's still coming that your baby is returned to you safe and sound.

OMG I can't believe I didn't see this thread before! Any news on little Zeke?

Just checking in to see if there is any news on Zeke, and to tell you about an idea I had after reading about the flyers of Zeke that were torn down. I did a search on YellowPages for Vets in the Modesto area:

How about if we divided the list up? Say we each phoned 5 to 10 vets, asked for their email addresses (if they do not have a website)? I am sure YT members here, close to your area, would be glad to help. Then we send these Vets the pictures of Zeke. That way, they have them on hand and could perhaps forward them to other Vets they know of. That way, if Zeke is brought in to any of these places, there would be a chance of somebody recognizing him.
Let me know if you would like me to help you with this. I just feel so bad for you and would do anything to help bring your baby home.

when did your little girl go missing?

I sent out a mass mailing to all the Vets, groomers, kennels, and pet stores two days after he went missing... It has been almost 2 weeks and I was going to send mail again because I don't want them to stop looking or scanning Yorkies. Emails would be much faster... I would love your help. How do we start?

I am going to the shelter right now and then I am going to stop and get a 2007 Phone Book. I was looking through the one I have and noticed there are Vets I may have missed. They could be out of buisness because it is an old book but just to make sure I am going to get a new one.

We can divide up that list above and start calling, requesting their email addresses. Which picture of Zeke would you like to use in these emails? The most recent one would be best. We explain to the above offices about Zeke and ask them to please keep a copy of his picture up front. They could also forward it onto other vets they know!

I just want to add this. Do you recognize any of the names on the list above? Perhaps you have sent mailings to some of them already? That way you can eliminate some numbers.
EDIT: This is so sad. I just spoke to the first one on that list - Dr Steven Baker. His office, by the way, does have Zeke's picture up. But they tell me they have pics of 3 other Yorkies that have gone missing in your area; they believe this is an organized ring doing this dreadful thing. The POLICE should be involved!!!

WOW, that does sound fishy??? Maybe you can ban together with the other 3 missing Yorkies and get the police involved and the press! That would be 4 missing Yorkies in your area, IMO that should be enough to light a fire under someone's ass!!!! :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

This is so hard to hear, but i am not surprised! It is happening in so many different areas, even in our area, I am so paranoid, that I don't leave my house unless my husband is at home. I also will not answer the door during the day when i am here alone, and i have locks on gate in their yard. I also dead bolt, all my entry doors. This breed is the second most popular breed, and people will do anything to get one. What the heck is this world coming too!!!!! It makes me want to throw up!!!!! I pray they find this ring, and all these poor missing dogs are returned. This is the most heartbreaking thing i have ever heard of, these people need to be set an example of and punished to the fullest extent of the law!!!!! I pray they will find them, and I know those two women have something to do with all this. If only someone could get them to come to their house to say they needed it to be cleaned, than have someone follow them, maybe hire a private detective, i will be glad to help with the bill. I just don't what else can be done, seems like you have done so much more than i have even heard of or could think of, this forum has been so great with all the good ideas!!!!! And you are a saint who has followed through with every one of them, you just have to get your little guy back. You just have to!!!!!! Still praying for his safe return or that he will be found in great shape, and pray he is being well taken care of!

I live in Glenwood Springs, Co. But lived in Aspen for over 35 years, and so many have been stolen right out of their houses, yards, they offer rewards as high as 5,000.00 and have never got their dog back, they think some of the contractors they had hired stole their 8 year old yorkie!

My whole family lives in Golden, and my cousins live in Arvada.

:thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: Great Idea, also maybe they can share some of the expenses to hire a private detective, the police need to get involved as well, how many more do they have to have missing before they will get involved!, and anyone with a yorkie in that area needs to keep them locked in their house, and only let them out while you are with them. This just makes me so sick. It is the worst thing that can happen to anyone, it is right up there with losing a family member!!!!!!!! May the Lord in the name of Jesus help us reunite these puppies with their owners, please Lord return Zeke and the rest of these missing dogs, and catch these thieves, and make them pay dearly for what they have done. In the name of Jesus Amen.

This is a VERY long shot, but does this baby look like your Zeke? I am posting it along with a picture you have on this thread of YOUR dog.
It's just that when I look at the two pictures, even though the one is a small clipping, I do see a resemblance. If I am wrong, I am so sorry, but I just want to make sure I am not ignoring this.

It still did not work, so I am posting a screenshot of the page I found it on. Something about this listing does not look right. I had checked this sight just to see what I would come up with on Male Yorkies listed. This listing was very brief in comparison to others. And the little picture resembled Zeke. Also, the age is similar. If there is indeed an organized ring stealing these Yorkies, what better way for a quick turn around than on a sight like this:

I'm not good at downloading anything, but you are great, is there any way they could be posted together so the tiny picture could be inlarged so they can better be compared. They look sooooooo much alike! I have been going back and forth, and it is hard to be exact, but they really do share the same hair, and nose.

That's what I thought. Also, the listing is VERY brief in comparison to others. I am going to post the listing of where I found the above pic, and then another "regular" one that has tons of information relating to that pup being sold. There is just such a HUGE difference!

See what I mean? What kind of listing provides SO LITTLE info, compared to others. I could be wrong, but anything is worth trying at this point!

EDIT: another strange thing, when you click on the pic of the "regular" listing, you are taken to an enlarged picture. You cannot do this with the second listing's pic.

It's scary to purchase a puppy from puppy find that is so inexpensive, they all seem to be scams, a couple that bought a pair of my litter mates, were scammed out of 800.00 for a dog from their, they were not able to get their money back. This world is getting so sick!

Okay - here goes - I tried to enlarge the little clipping off puppyfind without distorting it too much. Then I took Zeke's pic and placed it underneath, then took another screenshot. I just think the resemblance is SO strong when you look at them next to each other. Remember, the larger pic is Zeke, the smaller one underneath is from the listing. Only his Mommy can tell for sure:

Yep, that is exactly why I checked there! Where better to sell a Yorkie MUCH cheaper than others listed..... could produce desired quick sale.:(
