Sorry to hear about your missing baby..i believe these women have something to do with it especially if they are hanging up on you..hoping you will go away but don't you dare quit!!! Can you put one of your fliers on your car window?? like they do when someone is selling there car? You never know who may see it and areas you may not get to...those people may be coming to your area and you just never know!! Put in the flier reward for lost pet..don't put in an amount just say reward offered!! You never know who may see it and have seen your pet and come forward!! Hope you find him

Did you ever find anything out on the site I sent you where you put in the phone # and it gave you address and name??

no, there was no information available... its almost like these people dont exist.

It's amazing that these people can wander the streets, solicite their business, come into your home and do whatever it is they do. And yet we can't find a trace of them. Scary!!

I am so sorry to hear about your loss! I have read through this entire thread - my husband is Hispanic had some good insights - 1) Could it be that they are illegal and are afraid of getting caught? 2) You may have stumbled across the very Yorkie theft ring - this is how they are making money. The idea of finding a Hispanic person to help you is best - have someone contact them regarding the cleaning business and then follow them from there. You need to find where they live in case they still have Zeke, or any other dogs for that matter.

Did anything come out in the newspaper yet? Just reading this makes me feel so sad for you - praying that Zeke comes home to you soon...

I did think about that and I told the lady that the only thing I care about is getting my baby back. I told her I was not interested in bringing any charges against her. I did express that I thought the ladies may be lying for two reasons 1)they do not want to be fired by the owner of the business and 2) they are scared of the repercussions. I do believe they may be illegal. That is one of the reasons I am afraid of pushing any harder... If I do they may get really scared and dump Zeke off somewhere or even worse just to keep from getting caught.

I know this might be a stupid question, but have you rechecked your local shelters in the last day or so? Even if you left you number and info about Zeke with them, you never know. Human error at these centers is not uncommon.
I just feel so bad for you and wish we could all do something, anything to bring your Zeke home.....don't give up, remember what I told you about my friend who was reunited with her dog after 2 weeks.

I am going to go to the shelter today, they open at 12 to the public. I also have to go to the paper and renew my add because it expires on Wednesday.

This is just aweful. I can't believe there are people out there that last saw Zeke and they won't talk to you about it! This sucks, did you tell that lady to tell her staff they there is a huge reward and that Zeke is sick and needs to have special meds everyday?

Yes, we have tried all sorts of bribery but nothing seems to work because he is still missing.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your baby. We pray for his safe return to his rightful home. Yorkies are so cute, loveable, and trusting, it's no wonder they are stolen by others. My scare happened when I left the back gate open after mowing the lawn last month and I looked around and I could not see Davie, one of our females. I just paniced!! Thank God for Kurt, a quick thinking boyfriend of my daughter's who ran to the back bushes by the pool. He said he watches Davie watch the scinks (little lizards) that we have on the bushes and screens. She was just sitting under the bushes watching for some action. When I saw that Kurt had Davie cradled in his arms, I just went to pieces. Kurt is my hero, and he will always be welcome in my house. It is funny to watch Kurt now with the babies......Davie seems to know that Kurt is special and will curl up on him just like she does on her Mom and Dad!! Thanks Kurt from the bottom of my heart. I hope there will be a Kurt in your story soon!!

No news...I'm sad. I pray they will want the money/reward more then they want Zeke...someone out there knows where he is, that may come forward with information.
Do your fliers and ads sound really sad...that there is a child involved, that misses Zeke? Anything that may pull at their heartstrings...
And be specific...NO QUESTIONS ASKED???!!!

You don't have to be honest about the reward you'll give those ladies. Tell them you have a $10,000 or more reward for someone who finds your baby. If they bring him back, say sorry you misspoke and that the reward is actually smaller. Who cares if you have to lie to them. If they took your baby, they don't deserve a reward. If that's what it'll take to get him back, do it. I hope you find him!

Nothing new to share unfortunately... Today I posted more fliers because people are tearing them down. For some reason I am beginning to feel like Ace Ventura Pet Detective. Since Zeke has been missing animals keep coming out of the wood work. Cats, dogs, and now of all things... we found a bird! A Cockatiel, my son was at the park with his friend skate boarding and saw a kid trying to hit this bird with a stick. My son asked him what he was doing and that little, lets just say not very nice boy, said "I'm gunna kill it." My son pushed him away and took the bird. He has a family because he is supper sweet, he has been snuggling and giving me kisses. So another add and more fliers. Other than the baby Crow I rescued I have never had a bird so I hope I find his family soon because I dont really know how to take care of him.

Tomorrow is a new day... I am praying for good news!
