Praying your baby comes home soon!

If there are any other Yorkie Mommies (or Daddies) that live near Modesto that have had their Yorkies go "missing" let me know. I am working with an editor at the Modesto Bee to try and convince him that this is real, our precious babies are being taken from us. The word needs to get out and maybe if there are enough of us they will run the story. I have already met 2 other Mommies through my search but I know there are many more. Even if they went "missing" a while ago, I know there are more.

It does resemble him but I could not be totaly sure one way or another without actually seeing him. The picture I have up of him was before his hair cut. He is currently in a modified Schnauzer/Long Puppy cut for summer. I feel bad that I am not sure.

oh my i am so sorry for you and your fur baby mine was taken not long ago but a 250 reward got him back please check puppyfind.com in your area and next day pets they may try and sell him just a suggestion for you hope all goes well praying for you i do understand you frantic state

Maybe you have a friend who speaks fluent Spanish. . . and they could call that phone number and say they 'heard' from a friend that there was a Yorkie they needed to sell fast and your friend would offer to buy him. If that works, make sure a Spanish looking person meets them as they may be watching to see if you show up. . . then they would disappear with Zeke. Just a thought. Orrrr, have a friend call that phone number as if interested in having their house cleaned (the business card you posted didn't show up for me; but, I think I remember reading that). Once they arrive at the house, your friend would change her mind. Have another friend parked nearby who could follow them home.
I feel your desperation; I am sooo sorry that has happened. I hope Zeke will be home safely soon.

Good idea -- also, if you go the police route, perhaps they would let you speak to an officer who is a liaison with the Hispanic community. And you may have to go the reward route, as that's what they may be waiting for. Praying for you to get your baby back SOON.

I am so sorry to hear about your pet being lost. I am from the Modesto area and live in Turlock. I wish you luck in finding him.

Wow...I just tried reading through all the posts to get the updates....Sorry if you answered this but did you also distribute flyers in the Tracy vets and groomers? Since he is microchipped vets are good to hit.
I have a few friends in Tracy and in Modesto, if you can send me a picture of your baby and his age and approx weight, I will forward emails to the people I know in those areas.
This is awful. I'm not sure whats worse, having NO idea or knowing in your gut that these women have something to do with it and know something!! Have you offered a reward? A no questions asked reward??

Just a thought - if you go to the courthouse, you can find out all sorts of public records on them. It may take some searching, but it's all there - if that's their real name. Prayers going out for Zeke's safe return and all the other missing yorkies if this is truely a theft ring.

Today is another day... Each one begins the same. I sit at the computer check all the lost sites and the shelters then I head out for a walk through the neighborhood with his squeaky toys. I get home and start making phone calls... I check the vets, shelters, groomers, kennels, etc... Then I post more fliers, each day I move further away from our neighborhood. I wont give up! It is not an option, I will find him.

Prayer's coming that you do. I wish I could help you somehow.

I am going just nuts with worry about you little boy and where he can be and who has him. I really think those lady's had a lot to do with him missing, I wish you could search their houses, and get some help from the police.

Please do not give up hope, never, never, stop praying, and know that we are all praying for his safe return.

I think a reward would help alot. I think that is what these people who picked him up are probably waiting for.

Should you get him returned make sure you have the names of the people and phone # and an address, you can say you want to send them the reward, and call them to tell them how you little boy is doing. Then i would go to the police with that information and see if they have a police record and are legal in this country. Just too many of these babies go missing, and i am so afraid of someone steeling one of mine that i never leave them alone and they are never outside without me. Even a bird of pray can pick up these little ones. I pray that he will be found and returned to you!

I as so heartbroken for you, and i feel you pain, just don't give up, i have a feeling you will get him back. What happned to the dog that you saw a picture of, did you go down and check it out to see if he was your dog in his new haircut?

i really feel for you...you are taking all the steps that you can & that is wonderful. keep the pressure/heat on these thieves! no one likes to feel pressure--hopefully they will crack.

Ahhhh...I just saw this thread and my heart breaks for you. I can't believe how low and heartless people can be that steal pets from others. I will be praying that you find Zeke very soon. I also hope whoever has taken him can be dealt with as they should be and forced to face consequences.

I posted your ad in emails to all my friends, especially out in your area and I also posted it on Vixxen and the girls myspace! I hope something triggers someones brain! Let me know if you need help passing out flyers or anything...I'm not that far!
