This is such good news whether it was zeke or not you can at least catch this person, i would say if they still have him they would most likely go there on saturday or sunday

and come one who respects and cares for their dog to sell him in the parking lot of walk mart??

i would talk to wal mart and ask them if they see any one out there selling a odg or anything to call you and print out maybe a big poster with big letters and take to thedm saying something like if you see someone selling a pet out here call maureen etc not a poster but you know a sheet of paper that way they will see it and think hey ok i get it cause there are so many people that chnage shifts etc that who you talk to one day may not come in for a few days or something you know, so just know that we are here for you and we are willing to jump when you ask so just let us know if you need anything

and if its not to far i would scope out wal mart and maybe talk to a few people and tell them you are looking to buy a yorkie and see if any one know who she is? you never know, world travels fast at least in my town

walmart has security cams inside and out!!!!!! get the police to hurry and look at those before the little dog is sold.

Or before the tapes are erased! I don't know if they do, but a lot of retail places reuse the same tapes over and over again, and the footage is only 48 hours old before it's being recorded over:eek: OMG I hope that this leads you to your Zeke:love:!!!!

I hope this new lead gives you info on whose got Zeke

I just spoke to Proud Mommy, and she is at Wal Mart, and it is going to take some time to go through all the Sun. tapes, it is our best lead so far, as the Lady with long blond hair, could also be the same blonde that Proud Mommy said was one of the two lady's that last saw ZEKE. If this is the same lady that was seen offering a yorkie for sale that looked like ZEKE. Than we have our lady!!!!!

Proud Mommy said that the lady that she suspected took her ZEKE, would not give her eye contact, and was acting strange, so if Proud Mommy can see a picture of the lady standing outside Wal Mart with the Yorkie, and it is the same Lady, that she said would not give her eye contact and was acting strange, she could identify her, after all just how many blonds with long hair are out there selling a single Yorkie .
She said the police are of no help at all, and basically want her to just go away! I think if she can get a picture of the lady from Wal Mart, and identify her as the same lady that last saw ZEKE, than the police will have an excuse to search the lady's house, and question her about the yorkie,and be much more willing to help!! hopefully she did not get him sold. And just maybe she still has him, all we can do is continue to pray. This is the best lead ever, and Proud Mommy is also calling all the Vets in the area and asking them to check every male yorkie that is new that is being checked over to make sure to check to see if it has a micro chip. If ZEKE shows up, at any of the Vets in that area and surrounding area than the Vets will know that it is ZEKE and he will be returned!!!! The person will be reimbursed!

She will be back on line as soon as she gets back from Wal Mart, and thanks everyone so much for all their prayers and suggestions! We are getting closer and closer to bringing ZEKE home!

I'm praying that Zeke is found. How awful.

OMG!!!! I have been gone the whole day and just checked in here for the latest on Zeke!!! Donna Jean have you heard anything yet??!! I pray with all of my heart that his lead takes Zeke back home!!! If this is indeed the same blond woman, then we have to think of the next step, in case she has indeed sold him. I wish someone on these forums had a contact in the News/TV industry! Because if it is her, then the footage from the security cam could be aired in that area.
If it pans out, I have another idea if the above is not feasible. Maureen could get a copy of the tape, and use it to make a small "Ad" that could show in local Movie places. If she took her story to the Manager of her local Theater, surely he would be moved enough to put it on screen before previews. I see local ads at my Movie Theater all the time. It would be so simple to make this ad; it could be either in the form of "stills"/pictures, or a small CD/DVD that she could make at home, and take to the Theater.

ARGH!! I still cannot believe I missed this the whole day. What does everyone think??? Even if the WalMart security tape does not pan out, I would still want to try the above. It's vacation season now - more people than ever are in the theatres, daytime and night!

I too, am praying for the return of Zeke. I can't even imagine how frantic I'd be if Max was gone. I'm sending up prayers for you too; I know you've just got to be worried sick AND mad. I hope they catch these people and you can relate the horrific experience to a JURY and they put those lowlifes in prison and throw away the key. :mad:

Oh Maureen I pray this is it...as I was reading through todays posts...I thought Walmart has security cameras everywhere...maybe they got a picture of this blond, with possibly Sake...and if she was successful at selling him...maybe a picture of the car the dog (Sake?) left in...possibly a license plate number, at least a description. I would be all over that town...every business, posting flyers with your story...especially vets, groomers...pet stores. How big is the city of Tracy? Is there a local TV station...even our little town has one...post there too. And I would keep repeating on the posters, reward for INFORMATION...huge reward for the safe return of this dog. Please let me know what, I can do to help!!! Still praying Sake will be home soon.

I am sitting here reading this story on pins and needles. I would be a mess if somebody took my Peanut. Its a good thing that Zeke is microchipped. I had Peanut microchipped also, that way there is no question to who's his mamma. My prayers are with you and Zeke may he be home soon.

I can't believe I'm just coming across this thread! I'm so sorry about the loss of Zeke, but I'm so hopeful that this new lead will get him back. It sounds like Wal-mart is willing to help you if they're letting you go through their tapes, so yay them! Good luck! I'll be keeping you and your family in my prayers.

Ever since the first day this thread started, I haven't been keeping up and I just sat here and read about 89% of this entire thread. Hopefully this new lead on this woman at Wal-mart brings little Zeke back home. I can't say I know how you feel but I do know how it feels to have something/someone you love so much taken away from you.

Hoping and praying Zeke will return home safely.

I'm praying that this is the lead that Proud Mommy needs to bring her Zeke home to her. :hands: That makes me so mad that the police will do nothing to help her find Zeke. :mad: After all isn't a Yorkie stolen property?:icon5:

Any news yet??? Donna Jean? Have you spoken to Maureen?? I am hoping that the fact she has been gone so long means the lead is not another dead end.

Good God I hope so...I'm just sitting here praying for Zeke, wanting to help...but there's nothing I can do from here...but pray.

I feel so selfish that I wrote and asked about my dogs ear drooping problem after not being here for the past few months...and I just read the ENTIRE chain on Zeke and after drying my eyes I am waiting on pins and needles to hear good news!!! My heart and thoughts are with you and my whole family (whom I have explained your events to) are deeply praying for his safe return to you.

My eyes are glued on this thread!! I hope we get Zeke back and that this woman took him so that we can track her down!!! How can she just lie to her face?!?

Hey Kathy! I also keep hopping up to come back to my computer to check on Zeke. This whole thing is just so heartbreaking. (Hugs to you and Winston....hope he's feeling better.:))

It's been a long time since we've heard anything...do you really think someone would be stupid enough to try to sell a stolen dog at the local Walmart? Maybe...I hope she finds him. But I'm starting to have doubts...maybe we should keep looking, is there a TV station or radio station in the Tracy area? If we can get this story broadcast, it will at least make people aware...and watch for Zeke, maybe someone with a heart will actually come forward with information. Still praying for Zekes' safe return to his loving family.

Oh Yeah - I do believe that some people are STUPID ENOUGH to try to sell a stolen dog in front of Walmart. Plus, let's just say it was Zeke and someone bought him...Well, you know that you just don't go to Walmart 1x and that's it - of course you return again, probably within a few days, so she should put some posters all around Walmart too. Heck, the poor other 3 Yorkies from the Vets office that are missing, they should be posted in places like Walmart and Target too!

But, I am hoping that she is able to bring Zeke home before any of that.

Anything new? I can't wait until she comes back up online.
