Just wanted to point this out in case it was missed...I know every lil bit of help is great to have! Wish I was there to help..even if it was just babysitting or spying...whatever..just wish I could be there to help out. Im kinda not fully financially able to make a gift but Im trying to make an attempt to save a lil extra to give! Its well worth it...hopefully Zeke will be back home ASAP!!!! My prayers for Maureen and Zeke!!

Lori & Maureen, did you see the post from PokadotsLover? She lives in Modesto...and has offered to help. I PM'd her, but I really don't know what to tell her to do. Maybe one of you should contact her, another set of eyes and ears sure would be helpful.

Just catching up on todays postings reference Zeke. I see there has been alot of good information going back and forth. I will continue to pray that Zeke will be back in his moms arms very soon.

I saw in the paper last night another missing baby... so I called today to offer any support I could. Thank goodness they had her back already

BUT...
I am starting to see a pattern

She was picked up by a man that decided to keep her instead of giveing her back(he had her for more that a week), she had tags on and everything. Someone told on this man so when the owner found him and asked for his dog back he said (brace yourself) "my daughter really likes the little dog I don't think I will give it back"

The owner said " what are you talking about she is MY dog" So the owner offered him a $500 reward for "finding" her, the mans response was make it $800 and we have a deal.

Can you believe this crap... I don't know what I would have done to that man

That is insanity!!! What was he thinking!!! I wouldn't have given him anything, reward I mean...really!!!

I just returned home again and was catching up - I cannot believe what I read above!!!! Do people have no heart, no soul???? His daughter was "attached" to the dog HE stole? Are you kidding me???????? What about the dog's owner - was she not attached. Did that freakin' moron even stop to think of the heartbreak SHE was feeling. And then to have the GAUL to bargain with her!!! Argh!!!!! It makes me so angry - how does one actually sleep at night, look at themselves in the mirror the next morning?????

Sorry for the rant. But this just really got to me. Bless you Maureen for reaching out to that lady. You too will get your happy ending. You deserve nothing less. We WILL make it happen. Kathy do I hear another cheer.....?

What a terrible terrible man!! I would have taken the dog from his arms and called the police on him!! Did they file charges?? People like that make me sick! This makes me want to cry and never ever ever let Lacy out of my site. I just can not imagine finding someone's pet and not doing everything I could to try and find its owner... I just know how heartbroken I would be if Lacy ever went missing

See thas the point where the police will come and she didn't have to give the man any reward because he actually didn't return. After i got my baby back i would have mentioned it to the guy that there was a 500 $ reward that he could have gotten if he would have found it in his heart to return the dog... Thats the kind of thing that makes people really think over their actions, and change rather then think WOW what i sucker, i negotiated for a dog that wasn't even mine and got 800 out of it, u know?
