Lauren that map/picture is fabulous!!!! Makes me feel like I'm actually there...I can see my self, wandering the neighborhood...of course with my eyes and ears open!!! This is THE perfect place for our PI to get started!!! I hope Maureen agrees with our ideas...unless she comes back with more information of her own. Jeannie...I think we should go with the PI that galatea suggests, I wouldn't want to just pick a name...not knowing what they're like, we can't afford any mistakes...time wise and money wise!!! Still hoping and praying for Zeke!!!

I agree Kathy, Galatea said she knows a lot of PI's but only a couple that are good that she would use. I wouldn't want to pick one to be just picking one, this has to be a good one, and with Galatea's recommendation, that would be all I would want. How much better can we do, we do not even know any, and Galatea, knows several and out of several would only use one of these two. So I am going with Galatea, do we need to vote? I guess the most important thing to find out from Galatea is how much do we have to come up with to get started and how soon can they start.

I don't know what we have in gifts yet, but I would hope enough to give him a 500.00 retainer. I think I will PM Lori, and see if we have enough to get started. I'll let ya all know!!

yeah i looked and i couldn't find mention of it because this thread is enormous and growing so fast. . I know how she feels cause i have no family here as well. It is what it is i guess.

havent been following this thread just stumbled upon it and red a few pages, i actually live in modesto, Im not sure exaclty what you need someone to do but id be willing to help, just Pm me and let me know!

I am back again. Jeannie I agree with you about the PI Galatea recommends. I just sent a gift to Maureen to help defray expenses. Every little bit helps.

Kathy, when you looked at that map, did you see what I mean about the Apartment buildings? See the white carport covers? If the Grandmother lives cnr Dale and Snyder, she MUST be in one of those. There are no houses for at least one block either direction, north, south, east or west. I even "tilted" the image using a tool on Google Earth - see below:



If she is in any one of those buildings, SOME OTHER TENANT THERE HAS SEEN TAHO/ZEKE. It would be impossible to hide him from the neighbors. Maybe that is why, as Jeannie says, the flyers keep on being taken down. I hope Maureen has posted many there. I just know that the reward would be soooooo tempting to other tenants.

you're right, they're not just disappearing for no reason, we definetly need a PI over there, or at least some cops to question the neighbors..

After being away from YT for months, I came back this week and after reading many of the new threads, I stumbled upon this one about Zeke. I spent many hours reading the story and since I posted yesterday, I haven't thot of much else. Poor Maureen!! I am so glad that so many of you, here in YT, are helping her out.

My hubby worked in Modesto for awhile, back in the early 90s, and I feel so darn far away. Well, I guess I am far away but when I hear the word Modesto, I remember being there and shopping and such, and feel like it is close to me - my heart anyway.

I just can't stay away from YT b/c of this thread and I keep feeling that things are going to work out. Praying that the gifts, to help out by getting a PI, are coming in quickly. I can't give much, but I know that every little bit counts and so I say to everyone who reads this post: Please help out, even with a little b/c it will all total up!!! I know it and I believe it!!

Such a great map!!!!! This is where the Pi should start out, and a vied should be set up at the Dad and sons house, some how. I would think the PI would have a camera and ways of doing surveillance on the Dad and son's house. This should make it even easier to find our puppy. Oh how I wish I wasn't so tied down! I would be their in a heart beat, I have always wanted to be a PI!!! Think I am over the age limit now though, and I don't do coffee and donuts, I would go stir crazy or fall asleep.
