Thank goodness, I am getting to be a physical and emonitional reck, this is so nerve raking that I have to take a break, and get my puppies the Vet for their 12 week shot.

Lori, I don't know what we would all do without you, you are our Angel , and just so full of helpful and good ideas, and so kind, giving and helpful to everyone, that I if I had a daughter I would want her to be just like you.

See you all in a while, I'm off to the Vet, then I am going to call Maureen when I get back and see what she has been up to.

So Pleeeeeeease let the police do their job, this is a felony, not childs play!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!

Remember, we have the only kid we need, and that one has already told us what we want to hear. I am sure he does not have the address of his grandmother, he is too young. The address the police will have to get out of the Kid or his father. The kid has identified the dog on the poster as Tahoe, that is all we need to get the police to do thier job. We have to all be so very careful not to mess this up, one mistake, could take Zeke right out of Maureen's arms. I am just on pins and needles waiting to hear from the police and to hear if someone may call about a reward.

As far a talking to a Physic on the phone, that is going against the Lords judgment, and we really need the Lord on our side. So please keep praying, and praying, our prayers have gotten us this far, everything is coming together, and is working so lets just keep our cool and keep moving forward, with the flyers untill the police can come and question the Dad and Son.

I hope you are all not mad at me for being so stern, you just have to know, one mistake and we could lose Zeke forever, you never know what a kid will say to maybe tip everything off to the person who is holding Zeke. I just don't want to take any chance's when we are already sooooooooo close, so please forgive me if I have offended anyone, that is not what I am try to get accross. I just don't want a kid to blow it! You never know what could happen when you place something this important in the hands of a child.

Ok...I've read all the posts, I'm up to date. I wish I didn't have to work all day...I could not concentrate on anything but Zeke, but had no way to check up on updates until now.
No do not talk to the kids...I agree with that.
But I think it would look more suspicious if Maureen did not go door to door, just like she did with this guy and his child. Actually the best scenario would have been to leave his house and walk directly to the neighbors and keep on going...each and every house, knock on the door...just as she did with him. That way it wouldn't be pointing fingers at just the one person, after all Maureen is a person looking for her beloved pet...she had information stating Zeke may have been spotted in that area...who wouldn't knock on doors and pass out fliers??? I totally understand SHE SHOULD NOT DO THIS ALONE, but she should do it with assistance, of the manly kind!!! (Anybody looking for an ADULT MALE)??? I know where you can find some.....Sorry, I just had to throw that in!!! Can we call that pet detective lady...update her on this and see what she would suggest? Maybe she knows how we can get the police involved sooner, why should we have to wait??? If this was a stolen car or something like that they wouldn't wait...they'd get somebody else on the case...Give us a break...Dear Lord...Give us THE break we need!!! And remember people all they have to do is scan Tahoe, there's all the proof we need. I wish I could be there to help you Maureen, know that you and Zeke are constantly on my mind and in my heart. I couldn't agree more with everything you have said!!!!!! The police officer will probably not be on duty till Fri, and no one else in the Modesto police office will touch Zekes file as it was assigned to Officer Nickerson, Kathy if you think you could persuade anyone at the office, I will pm you the number if you would like to call, and see if someone else would take it so we could move in right now. Tonighte would be great.

Maybe she could speak to the person in charge, tell him/her the story and impress upon them the need for quick action.

Not that you couldn't handle it Kathy! I just do better with this kind of stuff in person.

Judy...I just Pm'd Jeannie and said I can not believe Maureen could not walk into that station and convince somebody to save Zeke. I would if it were me, and they'd have to haul my a$$ out of there...I wouldn't leave without satisfaction. This is starting to tick me off...This is a fabulous lead, I wouldn't allow them to tell me I had to wait until Friday...That's hogwash!!!
Zeke's life is in danger here, and how do we know what these people wouldn't do to hide the evidence...that scares the crap out of me!!!
WE NEED AN ATTORNEY...NOW!!!
I am sorry if this is sounding out of line to any of you...but this stinks, what kind of law enforcement would let people just break the laws...and wait til Friday to do something about it!!!!!!!!!

You're absolutely right. It's unbelievable. Let's see if Maureen wants to go over there or if she wants to wait for Friday. She has a better feeling for the reality of the police and the situation than we do. We're also feeling helpless because we're not there. It's upsetting us all. An attorney might work. I'd be happy to send a gift.
