| Bless your heart. You are wonderful for helping this little guy like you did. I agree please don't take him to a pound or shelter. He would be one of the older ones that unfortunately usually don't ever leave probably. maybe he has just been lost for so long that is why he was in the condition he was in? I am hoping that was the reason for it. Hopefully there is a loving family out there who lost him a while ago and will find him through you and reunite a happy family. Trying to look on the brighter side here for his sake. Could you post a pic of him? |

| Just checking in. He has finally been resting. He was a little restless last night. I took some before pic in case someone got pissed that I shaved him jsut so I would have proof of his horrible hair/skin. His skin around his eyes was so nasty I dont hink I will ever get that smell out of my mind.He has never been on a leash I dont think. To be honest I dont think he has been lost for a long time. The town he was found in is not very big and he was very well fed. I really think he has been being fed etc just not cared for otherwise. I want to find his owner if he is lost BUT not if he has been with them all of this time. He is so neglected. If I met them I would probably lose it on them. Being lost is another thing altogether.I dont want to see him sad or missing anyone. *sigh* I will post an after pix ( do not laugh at him, I really am not a groomer at all but had to get that stinkly matted hair off)The before pic are on my daughters camera and she is sleeping |

| I empathize with your heartsickness as my new little Harry was not in too good of shape when I snatched him out of a kill shelter. As for his wandering, I would bet he's just happy to be safe - NOT looking for the owners who let him get this way. Please be patient and very careful when trying to place him. He deserves so much more than what he's had to endure. I'd take him in a New York minute if I were closer. I just love the older ones; spoiling them rotten their last few days/months/years here with us. God bless you for taking him in. |

| I'm sitting here crying. His eyes look sooo bad. I wouldn't give him back...ever. They don't deserve to have him. It just makes me sick to see this.

| What a great thing for you to do. He must feel so safe right now after what he's been through. I wish you could keep him, but understand. I hope you can find him a wonderful home with someone who will really love him.

| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | OMG I can see how bad his little eyes are and he must feel sooooooo much better now - You really REALLY touched me with this post and that baby will be loved for the rest of his life if all goes well - he didn't deserve to be so alone and now he's not. Thank you for what you did. That really was awesome |

| If the dog has been missing along time I can understand his condition, but you said, he seemed well fed. There is no excuse for sores on his body from neglect. I would try & place him in a good home, from what he has been through so far, he deserves that. You have done a great thing taking him in & caring for him.
