| I was just remembering when a friend of my from Texas, several months ago was at a convience store, getting a coke, and a young lady opened her car door and her yorkie jumped out and started down the highway, it was just getting dark, and the lady never was able to find her yorkie, it has been several months, and this happened in Arlington Tx. Would it be possible to place an add in the Arlington paper, and see if this could be her little lost dog. It would take several months to get into that condition, you never know how far these little guys can travel for several months, it would be a miricale if it turned out to be that lady's dog. You just never know, but it would be nice to call the Arlington Police, Pound, to see if that woman ever found her yorkie. I know it is a real longshot, but i just can not imagine anyone letting a yorkie get in that kind of shape on purpose. These little guys have such a close bond with their owners that i could imagine, it going cross country to find it's home. I know it's a real long shot, but i sure would try to find the owners for this baby and go from their. |

When they came for him a few hours later, turns out his summer buzz had been given early as the little man had gotten out at a family member's country home the week before and was full of burrs, weeds, sticks, etc. when they found him the next day. Doesn't explain his nails or eyes -- but he really wouldn't have had to be gone long to get a collection of mats and debris. |

| I am nearly positive it is them. I am glad that I did get him if even for one night. His toenails were like this for a long time. They said they lost him yesterday at noon. I found him around 3 pm. If nothing else his eyes are clear , his body is clean and his nails done. He does love and miss them. I am going to ask that if they need some help with him to please call anytime. I also told animal control so they can monitor them and maybe offer help if they cannot do it theirselves. Any other suggestions? |

| Oh wow...I just read this...You ARE an angel for picking him up, for giving him a bath and the super haircut!!! How long does a dog have to go unattended for his nails to grow like that? Let us all know how the meet goes, was it her dog? If it is and she's had him for 15 years...my goodness...you have to give him back. My only hope is that she learns from this, the poor condition of his paws is what concerns me the most, that is uncalled for...the mats in his hair and around his eyes could have happened more recently from being lost...but his poor little pads, I would think would be from a long term process...I pray for him, and hope you have the strength to do whatever has to be done and God willing the owner will learn from the mistakes and will take better care of him.

| Find out if he is microchipped and if not, turn him into rescue. I would not be looking for anyone to claim him. What a horrible life he was leading till his guardian angel picked him off the streets. You've earned your wings! |

| That just goes to show what unconditional love these little guys have. I can't believe the owner let him go so bad. I pray that she will at the very least brush him, and see to it that his nails are trimmed on a reg. basis, I happy and i am sad. Happy because he was glad to see his owners, but sad to think he has to stay with them and does not get the best of care. I pray that they will take better care of him. You did a wonderful job on the little guy, i am sure he is so much more comfortable, and I hope she gets him a sweater so he does not get cold in his new do. Big hug for you for doing the right thing!!!!!!! |

.... and they keep him outside ? That's awful for any small dog to have to deal with. I don't understand people....why get a little one if you aren't going to keep them inside with you where they LIKE to be ? Poor guy....If it's them, please have a long talk with her and all the best to you. You went above and beyond and I hope he's going to be ok. | |
