| ![]() That is awesome that you know where they live and offered to help. Sometimes older people have their pets, love em to pieces but often don't have the means to truly care for them. I'm not sure why the 50yr old didn't notice but...I am glad you are there cuz he is a sweet little guy. I'm also glad that deep down he is truly loved! You just earned some extra wings this week...good job. Kathy |

| ![]() I was really hoping this was going to turn out okay for that little guy, but if he was really an elderly dog, you had to let him go back to his owner. You yourself said he seemed to be looking for something, someone he loved. To take him away would have been devastating to him. I do hope she learned from this, that it does take more then just feeding them. But I do think he was loved and yes, maybe neglected but not necessarily abused. You did exactly what I would have done, cleaned him up, made him feel and smell good, and found his rightful owner and told her you would help make sure he was taken care of in his final years. May you always be blessed for doing this!!!

| ![]() God bless you for taking the time to pick this little guy up off the road, clean him up and take care of him! You're a very special person and I'm glad you found his owner and have such a big heart that you can help her with him.

| ![]() I am JUST finding this thread.... What a story. How wonderful it was of you to take him out of the traffic, probably saving his life just from potentially being hit by a car. Then you went the extra mile to clean him up, nursing his numerous "grooing issues". Such a sweet angel you are to "Matty" I love for the elderly to have companions but it would be nice that if they have one that requires such grooming as yorkies do that someone would do for them what you are offering her (coming by so often and bathing & such). You have a great big heart and hope that she will take you up on your offer. Take care and thank you for saving this sweet little man... Angi

| ![]() I am so glad this thread had a happy ending, It's people like you that picked him up, cleaned him up, and started looking for his family, who sounds is also in need. Not only did you help him, you are also educating and helping his family to care for their older yorkie with compassion and love, which also means GROOMING ON A REGULAR BASIS, these older guys love to be groomed and so need to feel their best with all the other issues they must face, nothing feels better than a good grooming, you are indeed an Angel!!!! You have my prayers and daily thoughts, this will all come back to you, you have to feel so good about the good ending, as we all do! |
