I am JUST finding this thread.... What a story. How wonderful it was of you to take him out of the traffic, probably saving his life just from potentially being hit by a car. Then you went the extra mile to clean him up, nursing his numerous "grooing issues". Such a sweet angel you are to "Matty"

I love for the elderly to have companions but it would be nice that if they have one that requires such grooming as yorkies do that someone would do for them what you are offering her (coming by so often and bathing & such). You have a great big heart and hope that she will take you up on your offer.
