| No. I receive the opposite. Tatiana gets admiration. Occasionally, I sense some yorkie owners are little insecure and envious when they see Tatiana. I think it's because Tatiana is small and lovely. I'm very lucky to have her. |

| I've only had Milo 4 months & haven't really run across too many Yorkies outside of my neighborhood or at my groomers, but everyone that sees him seems to think he's a great little dog. So sorry to know you're experiencing that. I know what you mean about getting excited when you see another Yorkie. I do the same thing. I'm just naturally a very friendly person. Milo, on the other hand, can be rather aloof at times but is becoming friendlier as time goes on. |

| We really do not get snubs around here. Just things like, "How much did you pay for your Yorkie?" or... here's my favorite, when someone is driving down the road and we are out walking... (screaming from their car) "GET A REAL DOG!!!"

| I wish people would mind their own business .... Why do they care anyway? How is a person walking down a street with a "fake dog" affecting them? Lol beats me!!

| I'm so sorry you are getting snubbed. I haven't had my babies but for a couple of days but we were sorta snubbed at petsmart the day I got him everyone thought he was so cute until this one lady asked what he was and I said a Parti Yorkie. She was like part yorkie? I said no and explained what a Parti was and she just looked at me funny and walked off. Lol. My SIL was the same way about him being a parti. Buddy has double trouble he's different colored and he's already bigger than most other yorkies. But that's ok I already love him sooooo much. |

| I don't think I've ever been snubbed, thankfully. Not that I care what a total stranger thinks anyway. Most people around here (Denver) are pretty friendly and are total dog-lovers. The only thing I ever encounter is people asking about her coat color being different from the standard. But usually that gets compliments. One lady even said "hey, women pay big bucks for hair like hers!". Other yorkie owners I've come across have even said how much cuter they thought Lexie was than their own dog! Lexie is a people-magnet for sure. People have even asked me if I get jealous of my dog because she gets all the attention! Riiiight! The only weird thing I've encountered several times is when I carry her in my sling bag, people go, "Oh, I didn't realize that was a REAL dog. I thought she was a stuffed toy." Like a grown woman would be walking around with a stuffed animal in a carry bag? Seriously?

| OMG, I'm a total snubber! Only bc Turbo barks like mad @ other dogs & he nips @ them if they get too close. We've met several people that wanted to meet them, they'll stop their car or cross the street. If they have a dog, sawwie we are going the opposite way or crossing the street. We've even had a guy on a bike stop & unzip his backpack & a Yorkie popped out loll! He ran up to us & Turbo started barking & baring his teeth & the other Yorkie did the same! TG his owner called him & he went back in his backpack. Of course, I apologized profusely, how could he have known. Turbo's fear of other dogs is totally my fault too. We've had 2 GSD's run up to us & their nose was on Turbo & Princess even b4 I picked them up, so I screamed. After that, a med sized dog ran up to us & Turbo tried to nip him all the while barking @ him (he could be aggressive to male dogs). So I try to avoid other dogs & their owners as much as possible. Some people in the neighborhood that saw him freak out b4 avoids us & crosses the street w/their dog & gives me an 'understanding' nod.

Our old neighbor that lived across the street b4 we moved (TG we don't run into him anymore) would always call out, 'there's the rats', or 'you walking those rats again?' I just ignored him, but so annoying & the bizarre thing is that he's an exterminator!
