| I've taken Lulu into Academy in her purse carrier, into Michael's where she sat in the cart, and yesterday we went into HEB in her purse carrier. I usually just carry her into PetSmart.

| I have only taken mine into Petsmart to try on a Christmas outfit. I guess I still can't overcome the man carrying a tiny dog in a doggy pouch thing...hahaha. I have already had several buddies threaten to suspend my man card for buying him clothes. He does come in the car quite a bit, until it gets too hot in the year to do that anymore. |

| SophieKate has been to many stores, Home Depot, Lowe's, Payless, Macy's, our local Mall, Ulta, PetSmart, PetCo, Ikea, Best Buys and the list goes on. On the weekends when we have errands we usually will take her with us as long as we are NOT going to a food store or a restaurant. Last week I took her with me to the Apple Store while I was taking a class, they were fine with her being there. One thing we do is if we have a question on if she can be in there we will ask prior to taking her. Good example was Ikea, we were not sure so on a previous visit we asked. SophieKate also goes to Farmer Markets, Flea Markets and Antique Malls. I very rarely will let her walk around a store, she is either standing in the cart or, we have sling bag she will be in it with her head out. I feel she is safer up off the ground and away from feet or little kids who are tempted to pick her up and, I always have her close by in case I need to grab her. SophieKate's favorite place in the world is Lowe's, she loves that store and the people who work there. We were remodeling in December and she went to that store A LOT so now when we walk in they all know her name and call out to her. Kind of like Norm on Cheers

| One IKEA up here said no. The hubby and I just went in to pick up something quick and weren't approached by anyone. He had her sticking out of his jacket for anyone to see while he walked over to where a bunch of the staff were gathered around chatting to ask where a certain item was. We didn't even go upstairs to where the cafeteria was. So I just dropped the linen, etc, I was going to impulse-buy for them to put away and left the store after he had informed me of their policy. Before my yorkie, I had never thought to bring my shih tzu in to IKEA, however, at the time, I've regularly seen others carry their dog under one arm going through there shopping. And before this incident, I have been through with my girl without issue in this particular location as well as in the other one within driving distance to me. |

| Our Ikea doesn't have a problem with bring in your pets but they prefer the dogs be in a bag. One lesson I did learn about Ikea is during the afternoon on weekends there are to many people in there for us to take her. SophieKate gets a little wiggly when a lot of people are around (I think she gets nervous). I have seen a lot of dogs in there, just like the other poster they are usually downstairs and away from the cafe.

| I guess I am different. My thought is that I am an example to my children and others, and if dogs arent allowed in, I don't bring them in, period. I am not going to disobey a rule just because I feel it is unreasonable. On the subject of service dogs. This one is a sore spot for me. We have a golden that is in therapy dog training for our 9 year old with a genetic disorder. We are going through hard work and training and I think it is 100% wrong to go and purchase a card that says your dog is a service dog just so you can bring it into walmart or whereever with you That is whats going to make the laws more strict regarding service dogs and make certification tougher, because of people that abuse it.

| I had just gotten my baby and he was in a big purse, sticking his little head out and I was told to leave the store (Target). The reason being is that they don't allow animals where food is sold except for service dogs. But I've taken him to the mall and haven't had any problems. It's just that after a while, he starts to get kind of heavy. He now weighs 8.5 pounds.
