Do you take your furbabies with you into any/all stores?

i take bailee everywhere except the grocery store and i try to avoid resturants because it can get them in trouble,she has been to a few in a pinch but concealed in her bag...noone has ever said nething to any of the places

I took Lola, Pablo and Manolo to petsmart the other day and could not get anything done. People came out of the woodwork to see the Yorkies. If I were only single again with 3 yorkies, wow, lots of attention....smile

I got mine at our local pet store; not a chain store. It is small and fits Onni just perfectly, she is 3.5 pounds.

Yes I take Layla to farmers markets but I usually put her in her stroller- i worry about her getting stepped on and she is not happy in my arms for long!

Here you can't take your dogs into farmers markets and I also have been told I couldn't take her into Home Depot but I take Teddi to the malls all the time. All the clothing stores love her. She actually has a few people at the mall that tell me to make sure I stop in their store when I am there so they can visit with her. I take her to the outdoor malls too (and in all the clothing stores). Also, my friends and I (the ones with dogs) go to restuarants with patios that you can eat outside with your dogs. I try on the weekends to do things and go places that Teddi can go too since I am working all week and don't get to spend time with her during the day.

I have taken Conner to Lowes, Home Depot, Michaels, the Mall and Dick's Sporting Goods. I put him in his stroller.

I do not take my pets in anywhere except Petsmart. I once took the little one in a big pink carrier that looked like a purse, they probably thought she was a pile of books, I didn't take her out.

The thing I have found is most places won't say anything as long as the dog stays concealed in it's bag and quiet. Don't advertise you have a dog and don't make a scene. Farmers markets don't like big dogs because they potty on the ground where people walk etc. Little dogs in bags, strollers, carriers, etc don't.

I agree- Layla has been a few places she shouldn't and people have noticed her but she is in her bag and not interfering with anything- so they let it go.

I don't take Tucker anyplace where there's food, either. I did take him into Beef O Brady's once. The bartender is a friend of my son in law's. He asked that I take him in so he could see him. Tucker's Mom

I have been asked to leave the Walmart a few time, when someone noticed Tom Pouce in my purse.

I don't take charlie with me to petco. My sister in law took charlie to the movie when he was 4 months old and smaller. I usually let charlie stay home. There is an outdoor outlet mall here that allow pet but i haven't taken him there yet. I am hoping to one of these day.

I've taken Prince to PetSmart, Pet Co., Barnes and Noble, Macy's, Starbucks, JC Penneys, CVS drug, and Publix (grocery store). He was always in his carrier except for the pet stores, and I was in and out quickly. No one noticed I had a dog with me.

I have taken Couver into Wal-Mart (in my jacket with his head out and with his carrier) and haven't been stopped. I was headed straight to the dog section though, so that may have been the reason. I have also taken him in his carrier to the grocery section, but I really try not to do that. I have taken him of course to Petco, but I find it is harder to shop with him because he wants to visit every dog! I want to get a better doggy bag, so he can hide a bit better. Buuttt I don't have a lot of money, so that may not happen

I really wish I could take him everywhere... I never want to leave him at home!
