Do you take your furbabies with you into any/all stores?

I don't take Mitzy in any stores but Petsmart. I know Walgreens allows pets but she doesn't tag along much because she gets car sick. There is also a restraunt here (Wooden Nickel Pub) that allows dogs on the patio only.

I take Audrey-Belle with me everywhere. She has been noticed a few times in her carry bag but we've never been asked to leave. They either ooh and aww over her or say nothing.

So does any have any good suggestions on places that are dog-friendly? I am trying to let Tobie meet new people and socialize but they only place I know to take him is Petsmart. We go there a lot but I've got to stop going so much because I always end up spending money. lol

I only take Onni with me if I know I am going somewhere she can go inside. I would never ever leave her in a car for fear of overheating or getting stolen; plus it would scare her half to death to be left alone.

When I take her; I have a doggy back pack that fits in front and she rides in there with her little head sticking out.

She is soooo cute! (I am not biased)

I wish I could take her everywhere!!!

Where did you find one small enough? A place here had those and the smallest one they had we tried and the poor girl flat disappeared in it! She's not a tiny Yorkie either she's 7 pounds.

Milo comes lots of places with me in and out of his bag, I always have it with me just in case. We never go in anywhere who has a food service permit because that is not allowed. The only place that has ever asked me to leave is Target the funny thing about that was I was there for Dog stuff go figure. He has been to plenty of small local stores, Kmart, Drugfair, Rite Aid, The Mall The Verizon Store, Homegoods, Michaels, petco, petsmart, 5below, TJ Max Bed Bath Beyond Old Navy Lots of places. The one thing I do make sure of is that I only take when it is not necessary for me to buy somthing this way if for some reason they ask us to leave or won't let us in I don't have to bring him home and come back.

Now that spring is coming (so they say) garden centers, outdoor markets, craft fairs etc are fun. But till then she just goes where ever with me in her bag and rides in the cart. She had to face me or she freaks out.

I guess it's the ordinances in your state and county that mandate this. Fort Lauderdale is kinda lax, but I have two issues. Lilly HATES the car, so trips are limited. I do bring her out in her carrier, and no one EVER says a thing to me. I have not tried bringing Jesse into a store other than Petsmart, but he is 10 lbs. at 8 months so it's like carrying a large infant around. He is not easily concealed.
