I wouldn't ever do it. I was just saying that when someone is as rude as what happened to the post I was referring to, you'd love to just stick it back at them somehow.

I wouldn't ever get a card to abuse it in such a way. I was just saying that when someone is as rude as what happened to the post I was referring to, you'd love to just stick it back at them somehow. I don't think anyone here is disobeying any rules purposely but sometimes those rules aren't posted and so you don't really know what the stores policy is on it until they let you know.

I take my baby everywhere I can. I carry him in a purse-like carrier. I have taken him to Whole Foods & Publix and nobody said a word! The other day I took him to Wal-Mart Superstore and someone came up tp me and said I couldn't have him in the store. Our mall allows dogs if you don't put them on the floor, and Neiman Marcus will even give them some water!! The girls LOVE him there!

I'll bet that manager at Target doesn't own a dog. O dog owner would probably understand, and have been a lot more reasonable. Also, maybe she was having a bad day and something else was really bothering her. Either way, what a jerk. You can't treat customers like that.

I also agree about service dogs. Seems like if people abuse it, like anything else, it will get the stuff regulated out of it, or will be harder to get the certification.

Me too! anywhere there is produce or and "open" food Koda does not go. Usually anywhere else is just fine particularily if he is in his bag.

mine have gone everywhere with me that food isnt sold. Bringing them in where food is sold is when you will usually be told to leave, if caught.

I had always taken my small dogs in Home depot and Lowes and rode them around in the buggy. Considered it part of their socialization (no food) and had even seen large dogs on leash in there. I was rudely told one day by a woman to take that dog out They were not allowed I very politely said that there was not a posting about it. She said oh yes there is You just didn't look. Of course by this time her tone and attitude had made my Irish start rising. So I just took my baby and stalked off in her face she was still talking, but she didn't know that she didn't want to talk to me anymore. Being put in jail wouldn't help my babies. When I got outside I looked for a sign the only sign I found was if you are handicapped you can bring in your service animal and get help with your purchases. I always have been meaning to ask a Lowes manager but never could get my Irish under control. Hmmm maybe I will e-mail their corporate offices I even considered dropping Jimmy Johnson because of the incident Nawwww that would go to far.
