One IKEA up here said no. The hubby and I just went in to pick up something quick and weren't approached by anyone. He had her sticking out of his jacket for anyone to see while he walked over to where a bunch of the staff were gathered around chatting to ask where a certain item was. We didn't even go upstairs to where the cafeteria was. So I just dropped the linen, etc, I was going to impulse-buy for them to put away and left the store after he had informed me of their policy. Before my yorkie, I had never thought to bring my shih tzu in to IKEA, however, at the time, I've regularly seen others carry their dog under one arm going through there shopping. And before this incident, I have been through with my girl without issue in this particular location as well as in the other one within driving distance to me. |
